The cabin, views, and host are amazing. Specifically the host, Michelle. She is so accommodating and easy to work with. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the age and condition of the hot tub.

Pros: beautiful view from back porch and great location to Pigeon ForgeCons: -3 blinds were broken so, we could not roll them up all the way to see view-fireplace didn’t work-key pad on front door didn’t work-when we arrived hot tub cover blown off and water freezing and low (contacted host who told us to cover and plug in hose to fill it up- couldn’t find the spigot and never used hot tub) -really there is just one bedroom that is closed off with a door the other beds (3) are upstairs and not closed off-the sheets were dusty when we arrived-the light in the bathroom downstairs turns off randomly -there is a critter in the walls that makes lots of noise at 4 AM. Can be heard in downstairs bedroom clearly and upstairs faintly (maybe bars or squirrel)Overall nice place just seems like they haven’t been out there in a long time, and didn’t look at pictures closely enough to understand how the rooms were laid out re doors. Hot tub was major bummer.

The cabin was not clean, there was no parking. Neighbors had a paved driveway. We had a washed out gully. We were not impressed with this cabin at all. We have been coming to TN for years and will never stay there again.

Not clean at all. It was obvious that dogs had stayed on the property from the hair all over the rug and furniture and the horrid smell. It was unbearable and we spent a lot of time cleaning. The host offered to send cleaners to remove the area rug but we placed it on the porch ourselves. If you decide to open the dirty, crusty guidebook you will learn that the host doesn’t recommend you drink or cook with the water. There was dust everywhere, cobwebs in every window. The host sent us a Walmart delivery of air freshener and water that arrived about 12 hours before we checked out so was not helpful at all. Please reach out to VRBO during your stay if you are unhappy with the accommodations. Our group is so disappointed that we weren’t compensated by the host or VRBO for the lack of drinkable water, the disgusting pet smell, and overall lack of cleanliness because I didn’t file a complaint until after check-out.

Pictures are nice, in reality very rundown feel with lots of things that need addressed. It’s very hot upstairs & wall ac unit upstairs doesn’t work. I did inform host of it day 1 but was never addressed. There were power surges & unsafe power strips paired with extension cords, this is a fire hazard. Many outlets didn’t hold anything plugged into them. I also asked to have the hot tub cleaned but was told that since house is supplied with unfiltered well water it’s just sediment & there’s no way to clean it. The hot tub was really gross & was not just a sediment, we found silver heart confetti in the hot tub. Found the same confetti inside on the living room floor so it doesn’t seem they vacuumed well after the last booking. There was also a collection of dead bugs under the bed, again cleaning wasn’t great. The description does not mention that the property is on unfiltered well water, we found out via house manuel upon arrival. Another thing that I wish had been in the description was the road up to the cabin. It was pretty steep & slick in the rain. We were ok having 4 wheel drive truck but if we had brought up a car I’m not sure we would’ve made it up the first night in the rain. Resort amenities are not accessible by walking, you have to drive down to them which I wish would’ve been in the description. Master bed is an old spring mattress, very uncomfortable. Bedspread was stained upon arrival. Washer/dryer combo is in rough shape. Wish windows had screens to enjoy them

The hot tub debris appears to possibly be the sealant coating flaking off. The hot tub is very old and also in rough shape. Also dirty.
The edging of the lint trap is very sharp and torn up, would highly recommend tetanus shot if it cuts you while removing lint from the dryer.
There was this setup and another on the other side of the fireplace running an extension cord up to the loft to a power strip with several things plugged into it.

Property was clean, WiFi worked great, kitchen had all necessary amenities. Hot tub does not look like the pictures. Dirt and debris in the tub. The cabin has hard water so shower fixtures are corroded and handles falling off. Do not attempt to find this place at night on your first trip. The road to the top of the mountain is narrow and difficult to see. However, once there, you know what to look for. Beds are very comfortable. Views are beautiful.

Cabin wasn't quite as nice as the pictures looked but was still good. Beds were not very comfortable but the pillows were great! Roads to cabin were very narrow and steep. Host never responded to my last message. Minimum age for hot tub use was unclear. There was a sign near the hot tub stating one, online listing stated another, and their manual inside the cabin said a third. Had no trouble entering cabin with keyless entry the first time but it would not work after that. Not worth the price in my opinion. View was amazing though!

Spring Break 2025

The cabin was perfect for a family and friends getaway. Although the rainy weather limited outside activities, the games provided kept the kiddos entertained. Surrounding area had many activities to fill up the day.

Amazing view!

We had a great stay at the cabin. We had an issue with the tv but it was quickly resolved by Michelle. The views are amazing and the cabins aren’t on top of each other like a lot of others are. Definitely recommend this cabin if you’re looking for great views and a quiet environment.

TOO HOT TO STAY AND ENJOY

THIS CABIN SHOULD NOT BE RENTED DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS! I HAVE TIME-STAMPED PICS OF THE CABIN TEMP ON VARIOUS DAYS AS DOCUMENTATION, BUT I CAN’T INCLUDE PICTURES HERE. PLEASE LET ME KNOW TO WHOM I CAN SEND THEM. This is the first time I have ever given anything below 4 stars; I usually give 5 stars. This cabin is lacking adequate air conditioning. We arrived at 4:30 on 7/1, and the cabin was hot! It has an open loft with 2 cot-like twin beds and a “bedroom” with a king bed separated by a pony wall. The compressor for the split unit that services the entire loft was broken, so the temperature of the loft was unbearable! The property manager did send maintenance with a small portable a/c unit for the upstairs, which was very little help. The first floor temperature at 9:47PM on July 3 reached 78 degrees, so the loft was much hotter! The first floor temperature never got below 74; the loft was hot! I contacted Michelle again the morning of 7/4, but did not hear anything. Finally, with a sick child (not related to the cabin temp) and an elderly mother-in-law, we decided to leave a day early, on 7/5. I informed Michelle, who responded a day later that the cabin temperature was reading 70 degrees from her end (it must be broken also) and that she will contact VRBO for a refund. We will see. On a positive note, the cabin is adorable, and the view is spectacular. We enjoyed the amenities of the resort and the proximity to everything. However, the lack of a/c is not worth it.

Loved the Cabin!

Cabin was beautiful. It is very high up and the roads are narrow but had the most beautiful view! I messaged the host when I arrived about a couple issues without a response so the communication could be a little better but overall we had a fantastic time when we were there and would stay there again! Kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the hot tub!
