Easy, clean, peaceful stay for family of 5

For our 4 adults and one toddler, there was plenty of space, and the cabin was safe for our little boy. Location is nice environmentally. It is a timely drive from popular attractions if it’s crowded, so traffic can be lengthy, as expected. Only downsides are minuscule issues like DVD player not ejecting or outside decorative string lights not working properly, no effect on the overall experience, which was very pleasant. Communication was great. Would definitely recommend this stay.

We received communication and information throughput process that was very helpful. Property was comfortable and met our needs but we wouldn’t stay again because of the drive to and from the cabin.

Perfect Secluded Family Getaway

What a perfect getaway!! The property, home, and location are awesome. It's the perfect size for a 4 person family. The main drawback and the reason it only got 4 stars is the driveway. It's steep and features a near-180 degree turn. Even my truck tires squealed each time I went up. The house inside is perfect. Well appointed kitchen with utensils, pots, pans, etc. Bedrooms and baths are good sized. Not very many hangers which was sort of annoying. Outdoor area was great as well. Hot tub and fire pit are well placed and easy to use. The grill is one of those campground style grills. We used it a few times so it's fine if you're not trying to cook a lot of food. One side note, there is a home under construction currently and we heard consistent, loud jack hammering or something else during the day. Overall, this is a perfect spot for unplugging and relaxing. I would recommend to anyone (with an all wheel drive vehicle or truck) looking for a cabin experience.

Absolutely beautiful property and the owners are always there when you need them. Customer service is top notch! I would definitely book this cabin again if it wasnt for the drive way. Its literally life or death in my opinion. I went up two other drive ways next door and my car made it up fine. But this cabins drive way has a weird cruve which makes it difficult. Especially if its raining. If you let go of the gas youre going off the cliff. You definitely need an all wheel drive or a newer, more powerful vehicle. All 3 drivers who drove up this drive way were scared. There is space to fix this drive way. Maybe make the cruve larger so its not as sharp. Over all we enjoyed our stay other than the panic of the drive way.

Thanksgiving Retreat

My wife and I will certainly be returning. This was everything we expected and more. It was a very relaxing cabin, hot tub was outstanding, front porch views were amazing, and the cabin was very clean.

Lovely secluded cabin

A very clean, lovely cabin, nice layout, and beautiful views from the long front deck. The cabin is very secluded and quiet. The hot tub and fire pit made our stay that much more relaxing. Larry was there when we needed him. He was kind, caring and very accomodating. We loved everything about our stay there. We went to the Titanic museum, rocky mountain coaster, Dolly Parton Stampede dinner 1st night of Christmas show,, and 2 of the national parks and Clingmans Dome. Iating.maaccomodwell

Bear and Critter Country

We were not impressed with the drive up to the cabin. The dirt and rocky roadway wasn't pleasant. Many ruts and holes to navigate through. After passing through the rutty roadway we arrived at the driveway that led up the hill to the cabin. You cannot make a left turn into the driveway as it is too sharp of a turn. You have to drive further then turn around and come in from the other side. Once in the driveway there is another sharp turn and very steep. The tires on our Jeep were chirping from trying to get traction. The cabin: Nice quiet attractive looks and loved the scenery off the back deck. First night there went to bed at 10:00. At 10:30 we hear an animal pushing on the front door. A bear. Kept me awake until 1:30 a.m. Second night, another bear comes and dug into the cover and pulls the cover off of the spa. We have stayed at multiple VRBO locations and I have to admit that this one is not in the top ten. I am listing a few of the things that we observed during our stay. While some of these are not a BIG deal they need to be dealt with. I trust that this review reaches the owners so they may take the required action to remedy. Outside string lights, several bulbs not working. Living room rug is a trip hazard, edges curling up. Clocks are not working or wrong time The dining room mirror is on the floor leaning on the wall. Mattress in the bedroom on the left is uncomfortable/hard The comforter and pillows are thin. Dishwasher not secured. Spa slippery.
