« Cabin was really nice, so quiet, gorgeous vuews, and the pond was nice, we caught some small mouth bass, we let them back in to grow and produce. We really enjoyed it, coming back from town we would see about 5 deer at the driveway, and they came to the pond to get them a drink. »

« This was a beautiful and very clean house for several generations to stay during Sewanee graduation. It is in a beautiful wooded location very close to Sewanee. The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of spots to relax on porches. The property is divided up into several separate suite areas, so everyone had their privacy. »

« We loved our stay at deer lick falls! It was a nice home away from home. It was nice to have the amenities such as a stove, oven, grill and a washing machine and dryer. We traveled with two children and anyone that knows these are a must! I was however disappointed that the “kids play area” was indeed not in the area we stayed. « Property touted full spice rack (no garlic) pans (only a few and in poor shape) charcoal supply for grill (wet due to being left outside) fire pit (no wood onsite). They supply the cheapest kitchen sponge and soap (had to watch dishes 3 times) so bring your own. Other than these minor issues, it was a cool place in a remote location, with full wrap around porch with comfortable patio furnishings FYI it's a tiny home. The shower drain is very slow beware so not to flood bathroom. Big loft area...

« The cabin overall was ok, the location is excellent though. Reasonably close to major hiking areas and state parks as well as Chattanooga. The cabin is well designed but I felt that esthetics are higher valued than functionality. We stayed for a week as a family of 4 and noticed there are not enough or big enough pots and pans to make basic meals, no hangers or wall hooks of any sort to provide space for clothing and no storage for any luggage pieces. « This tiny home had all that was needed for an enjoyable weekend. Loved being right near the trailhead that goes down to the waterfalls. Some of the group even swam below the falls. Being at the rear of the community there's less traffic with people entering and exiting the community, though there's hardly any of that anyway. Great place to stay! »
