« Everything about Hoot Owl was perfect! The entire property ground was beautiful. Our cabin was super clean and smelled fantastic. The view is something from a magazine that can be seen from every floor including the hot tub. Communication was great with the owners and you can see they care about your stay in every detail of the cabin. We will stay again! »

« A gem hidden in the mountains! This home is pure mountain bliss! Nostalgic, bringing back childhood memories of trips to the mountains with grandparents. The night sky was celestial! The sounds of nature sang to us in the night and awoke us in the morning. The cabin was VERY clean and peaceful. The beds provided a comfortable and refreshing sleep. We had a chance to greet Lydia as she was taking her morning walk, she is very pleasant and joyful! »

« Property was great for our family! We saw lots of wild life including eagles catching their breakfast most mornings and several herons hanging in the shallow water. Wonderful views of the river and mountains. Well stocked kitchen. Easy check in and check out. Would recommend 4WD/AWD as the driveway might be challenging without. Cabin is 25-30 minutes minimum from main roads and access road is narrow and windy in some spots. »

« We enjoyed our stay at Sleeping Bear. This was our second stay at the cabins- previously stayed at the owl cabin.We love the property because it is centrally located to Chattanooga and Cloudland Canyon. The hot tub was excellent after our hike. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed for basic food prep. The cabin was very cute and clean. Would definitely recommend staying at this place for a weekend to unwind :) »

« The view from the cabin was amazing. It was well stocked and beautifully decorated. The driveway is really steep so keep that in mind. Contact with the host was great. The pool area is really nice. The only complaint was the windows were filthy and we spilled some water on the floor and cleaned it up with a paper towel and the paper towel was black when done so apparently they don’t mop the floors which is gross. Also they apparently don’t dust under the furniture either, so many dust bunnies....
