„Beautiful setting with wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. The house is charming, renovated, updated, clean, and comfortable. Great location for a family gathering to bike, visit the battlefield or visit Shepherdstown. Hosts went above and beyond to be sure we had all we needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area. “

„This is a wonderful modified log cabin house in Sharpsburg Maryland. Main floor has compact kitchen, living, dining room and full bath. Ground level is a very cosy living room/den with a fireplace. Upstairs is a comfy bedroom with half bath and an outside room with a daybed. Nicely antiquey furnishings, plenty of games, books, pamphlets, dog toys (!), baby gate (!). Excellent supply of good coffee. (Critical).We were here to see two plays at the Sheperdstown (WVa) contemporary theater ...

„We had a great stay at the Spy House for our family reunion in Harper’s Ferry. The location was perfect and the house was exactly as advertised. The owner was communicative and accommodating. We will hopefully return soon!“

„Great home and location. Back deck could use a few more umbrellas. During our stay an additional umbrella was requested and brought over very quickly. Great service. On our last day (Tuesday), there was a lot of construction noise coming from the brewery. Not sure what was going on, but it eventually stopped. Would definitely come back again. My parents loved their 60 th Anniversary celebration.“

„This property exceeded our expectations. This was a perfect summer cabin, absolutely fabulous decor throughout, so many cozy hangout spaces for our group of 8. We never felt crowded, and especially enjoyed the game area and enclosed porch. We brought kayaks and tubes for the river, and did the Paw Paw Tunnel Trail (highly recommend!). We did have one issue with the property but our host was quick to resolve. Definitely would recommend. “

„Our family needed a weekend getaway that wasn't too far from our home but had the amenities we wanted - like a pool and a fire pit and nice views!We arrived to a cozy and clean 3 bedroom cabin. We had a week-long heat wave and the cabin's split AC unit seemed to work well under those circumstances. We brought our 4 small dogs - but had them caged 90% of the time since we could not trust them to not jump on the couch with us. We roasted smores on the fire pit, enjoyed the lower deck bar and ...

We loved hiking the Maryland heights trail and exploring Harper’s ferry. It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and we love the outdoors and history. We can’t wait to come back!“

„Comfortable and right at the C&O trail, so easy to take lovely walks. The house is clean, the kitchen and dining spaces more than adequate, multiple common areas are nice, as are bedrooms. Minor issue in that it seems the visitors before us made the remote for the downstairs tv disappear. Connection via phone, text etc can be spotty unless you're on the houses wifi, which worked well.“
