„Hallo, wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem großen Landhaus verbracht, mit ausreichend Platz für jeden. Der Garten ist wunderschön groß und sehr gepflegt. Die technische Ausstattung ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Auch wenn man auf dem Land wohnt, würden ein paar Spinnenweben weniger nicht stören, aber das ändert nichts am Gesameindruck: eine sehr schöne Unterkunft!!!“

„What a wonderful house, perfect place for extended family holiday. Very spacious and spread out. Really enjoyed the large well kept garden. Kitchen was very well equipped. Beds very comfy. House made interesting with the many photos, artwork and family collections. The free roaming chickens made it for everyone. Hosts promptly replied to all my questions. Highly recommend.“

„Vine Cottage is a large, spacious, property, ideal for our family group of seven adults. With two lounges, we never felt like we were tripping over each other. „We stayed here for a big family birthday long weekend celebration. The house was immaculately finished and really well equipped. We spent a long time looking for somewhere that had a dining table big enough to seat 16+ people together and this was perfect. There are several living spaces for everyone to spread out as well as outside seating when the weather is nice. Lots of parking and beautiful surrounding countryside. Communication with Bridget was seamless. Highly recommend this property.“

„Starting to need a little TLC. The hot tub lid is broken. There are missing dimmer switches and screws out of wardrobe door handles. In the games room the perspex glass on the side of the pool table was smashed and no ends on the queues. The dartboard wasnt fixed on the wall properly and not all the players work properly on the football table. Also had to rewire the karaoke plug. None of this ruined our stay as its a beautiful property with stunning views.“

„A beautifully renovated property, keeping all the history but with modern comforts. Well equipped farmhouse kitchen with a large dining table, many characterful and gorgeously appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. „The property is a beautiful old farmhouse which has been beautifully restored. Accommodation was well laid out and because of the host’s style and attention to detail felt very like ‘home from home’. „Das kleine Cottage ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Für unseren kurzen Stopp völlig ausreichend. Die Lage ist super, man kann den Ort zu Fuß gut erkunden. Sogar den Dog Walker in der Nähe vom Bahnhof haben wir gefunden. Die Kommunikation war super und der Check in problemlos.“

Viel Charme, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen
"Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Promenade und dadurch zentral. Das Parkieren gestaltete sich als sehr schwierig. Wir parkierten dann in einem Parkhaus und erhielten vom Hotel einen Discount dazu. Das eigentliche Fairhaven Hotel ist geschlossen, whs weil es renoviert wird. Das momentane Hotel liegt aber gleich daneben. Dies ist aber auch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Aber es hatte einen Fahrstuhl, was mit schweren Koffern sehr praktisch ist. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer hatte bequeme Einzelbetten mit bequemen Kissen. Das Bad war sehr herzig, recht gross und es funktionierte alles gut. Es hatte genügend Kaffee, Tee usw. im Zimmer. Im Hotel war es nachts sehr lärmig, da Wochenende."
