Everything about the hotel was lovely, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The facilities were fabulous with the Spa and we ended up eating in the hotel restaurant the Upper Deck each ever our stay because the food was so good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Disappointed with the service at dinner and breakfast, staff were lovely but not enough of them working, so service was extremely slow with dirty tables everywhere. First room did not have a working TV and second room did not have a hairdryer - had to ring reception from my mobile as the phone in the room did not work either.

A lovely stay at the Harbour Hotel
We had a one night stay while travelling to the area, although we found the hotel very good we found that the bedroom was extremely small with a double bed, the room would have been more suitable to a single bed, the pillows were all the same giving no choice as to the type of sleeping arrangements, on a positive note we would stay again but maybe choose a different style of room. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed.

the staff were very helpful and the restaurant food was very good. The hotel is in a very good location. On the downside the bed mattress in my room (#2) was far too soft and the mirror over the shower room's wash basin was far too big for the small space making it difficult to bend down close to the basin

Ideal for stay in Sidmouth.
We throughly enjoyed our overnight stay. Everything was perfect from check in to meals. staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Appreciated that we had been up graded to a seaview room with balcony - a nice surprise Thank you. Evening meal (fish and chips) was very good. Breakfast very good choice. Hope to stay again.

Everything excellent
Wonderful couple of days with our 16 year old daughter. Everything from the spa to the restaurant was excellent and when I left some things in the room on check-out they posted them to me the day after with no fuss at all - really wonderful service. The view and position is lovely and spa was great. Will be returning

I know you are a Harbour Hotel so fish would be a big choice on your menu, but it would have been nice to see other choices, maybe a pasta option for anyone who doesn’t eat fish. Car parking was limited and I think most people would think they could park and not have to pay car park fees. That would definitely be part of our decision to stay. It was lovely to be able to bring the dog, it would have been really good if there was some where in the hotel you could sit and relax with a drink. It was lovely inside but we never got to relax and use it.

Nice hotel, insufficient parking.
Nice hotel, we had a very comfortable room with a good sized bathroom. Very convenient for the town, the beach and for conaught gardens. I was disappointed with the parking though, hardly any spaces and some enormous cars were taking up two spaces. We had to pay £8 a day to leave our car over the road in the public pay&display carpark. I chose this hotel over other seafront hotels because it supposedly included parking , i think they should at least provide parking passes for use in the public carpark. This took the shine off what would otherwise have been a nice stay.

The hotel was well situated with lovely views from the terrace. Unfortunately the first room we were booked into was dark , hot and only had a view of a brick wall.. we did ask to move after the first night which the hotel did accomodate us with but I don't think these rooms with a wall view are fit for use. Staff friendly. Food in restaurant fir evening meal average but breakfast very good.

Beautiful setting. Pools lovely. Restaurant good food but not enough selection & tables left uncleared. Menus unclean. The bar itself was filthy, needed a good wipe down, as were the lounge glass tables. Room very nice & comfortable.

WE HAVE BEEN TO MANY HARBOUR HOTELS AND ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR STAYS.UNFORTUNATELY THIS HOTEL WAS TOTALLY THE OPPOSIT ! NO PARKING AVAILABLE WHEN WE ARRIVED SO HAD TO HANG AROUND FOR AN HOUR,AND GOT TOLD TO GO TO THE LOCAL CARPARK OUTSIDE AND PAY !. ONCE IN THE ROOM WE NOTICED THAT THE DECOR WAS IN NEED OF TOUCHING UP,THE TOILET WAS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY IN THE BATHROOM AND AGAIN WHEN MENTIONED THEY SAID THERE WAS NO MAINTENANCE STAFF TO FIX . THE STAFF WHERE VERY YOUNG AND HAD NO EXPERIENCE OF SERVING CLIENTEL CORRECTLY,NOT THERE FAULT AS THERE WAS NO MANAGERS AROUND,TO INSTRUCT THEM.TO BE HONEST FELT A LITTLE SORRY FOR THEM.AS THIS WAS NOTICED BY OTHER PATRONS STAYING,WHO PERHAPS WHERE NOT SO FORGIVING.SUGGEST THIS HOTEL NEEDS SOME SERIOUS MANAGEMENT AND TRAINING DONE. WE ALSO HAD TO PAY FOR A PROPER COFFEE AT BREAKFAST,WHICH AGAIN WE NEVER HAVE HAD TO DO BEFORE.WE HAD AN EVENING MEAL WHICH AGAIN WAS LACKING IN ANY KIND OF SERVICE AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL.LASTLY WHEN WE SETTLED UP THE BILL,WE WGERE CHARGED OVER £45 POUND IN SERVICE CHARGES,EVEN FOR WATER .

Staff are extremely good and nice. Bar service a bit slow but because it was busy. Staff were great. Bed was very uncomfortable and 4’6 so smaller than used to. Bedroom was very hot, discovered fan second night although needed windows fully open. Views from hotel fabulous. Great location. Parking was maxed out most of the time and usually got last spot.

Good base for staying in Sidmouth. Room very comfortable. We only had breakfast there but the service I’m sorry to say wasn’t great. We had to wait for sometime to order our breakfast and one of us received the wrong order. Breakfast bar had not been topped up regularly fruit salad and cold meat platter was practically empty. Maybe the staff were a little overstretched .
