Came down from Albuquerque for the weekend to explore Silver City and the Gila Forest. The Roadrunner is within a mile from downtown Silver City, and a great central location to be if you plan to visit the popular tourist attractions in the area! There is also a lovely view of the sunrise (see photo) right out the front door/deck with furniture! This quant home was very clean and modern, with all the amenities one could need! The hosts, Ben and Michelle, are friendly, informative, and very inviting! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Silver City. I hope to visit again someday! Thank you!
This place was perfect! The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Itâs an awesome location because itâs quiet and near a bunch of open space, but itâs four minutes from downtown Silver City. We spent a bunch of time on the porch, which has shade, a breeze, and a killer view of the hills of the Gila National Forest. Oh, and the starts at night are beautiful. Iâd definitely recommend this place to friends and hopefully weâll come back ourselves too.
Check in was super easy, I appreciate a self check in option. Communication was very clear.Only thing that I would improve is that it is not very noise proof. The wind was blowing and you could hear a lot of rattling. Specifically the bathroom vent I believe. Was comfortable and clean!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Roadrunner. I was traveling to Silver City to visit my brother and his wife and this was the perfect place. Close to town but secluded. We saw a herd of javelinas cross the road right in front of the driveway. Has all the amenities for an extended stay including washer/dryer. The bed was comfortable. Great views from the deck and the night skies are amazing. Ben was a perfect and accommodating host. Definitely would stay again.
Exactly as described in the listing. Very clean & well stocked. The owners are attentive & took great care of us! We loved having our coffee & cocktails on the deck!
My spouse and I stayed at the roadrunner for a few nights and had a great stay. The views and the wildlife around this property are incredible. We spent each morning drinking coffee on the porch and watching deer and their fawns play and roam. The house itself had everything we needed for our stay from a washer/dryer to some seasoning in the kitchen. Thank you to the hosts for having us!
Quiet, cozy, clean, good location when coming into and out of town, price is right, easy to find, all appliances and amenities needed (except for a hot tub), good communication with management staff, wildlife right outside door (deer and quail), a must see and stay when going to Silver City.
Nice clean and comfortable spot to stay in when in Silver City.Close to main street and had all the necessary items for a relxing sojourn Owner rsached out a few times to ensure everything went well I recommend this when visiting Silver City !
The unit was very clean and the kitchen well equipped. The view was great, and we had deer visit us several times. Ben and Michelle communicated everything clearly, and our stay was great!
Loved the 'Roadrunner'! The bed was super comfy. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and then some. We enjoyed using the grill out on the deck, which is a very relaxing place to hang out, especially if you are into wildlife. We saw deer, rabbits, and a wide variety of birds while chilling on the deck. We plan to return.
This is an excellent little place to stay in Silver City, about 8 minutes from the center of town. It appears to be brand new, and extremely well-kept. It was very clean, and the kitchen has everything you need. There are nice tools so that you can use the propane grill on the deck. FYI, the deck is shared with a second house immediately next door so this could be used by two families and you have a nice place to meet up outside on the deck. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you
Lovely place to stay with a beautiful view of open space. It was neat and clean and close to the center of Silver City. I would definitely stay there again.
