There were games, toys, and the kid's bathroom had the whale over the spout. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishes, utensils, silverware and more. There was a whole spice drawer. « We had a great stay, the place was extremely clean and the perfect space for what we needed. The fire pit and chairs were a lovely place for us to sit and chat. Everything we needed for cooking was accessible and ready for us. The host was extremely easy to get in contact with, and very helpful. My only suggestion for future guests is to make note of the access code before arriving as there is spotty service before connecting to wifi (no fault of the hosts!). « Bathroom floors and vanity not clean, sheets on one bed seemed damp, back porch was not clean, many days not clean, sliding doors had cobwebs at all corners, no screen door here, steps from parking to door in very poor, dangerous condition, kayaks were not cleaned off and made ready for use. This cottage had not been made ready for guests. Concerned that vrbo is advertising for unkept property. We wasted time, money, dreams of a wonderful weekend ruined!! »

The property was not just dated—it was filthy and appeared to have been neglected.
