The home was large and had nice outdoor space. However, the beds were very uncomfortable, only two bath towels were provided per room, the living room tv did not work and the pool had a cleaning hose in it which, according to the instructions, was not to be removed. I had requested early check in and eventually did get it, but they were unable to tell me if it was available until noon on the day of my check-in, making planning difficult. When I called at 11:30 all they would tell me was that if it was available, I would get a text, and if it was not available, no text. In addition, requiring 10:00 am check-out feels unreasonable, as hotels are 11:00 at the earliest.

Family Sonoma Vacation

Overall the house and property were beautiful and clean. However, we were extremely disappointed that there really wasn’t a hot tub. There was a jacuzzi in the corner of the pool, however, it never got hotter than 91 and was way too cold to sit in at night and look at the stars. We received the wrong access code upon checking in and had to wait on hold for help for awhile to get the correct code. The house was beautiful and well stocked.

Great time in Sonoma!

Two families in sunny Sonoma for 10 days. The best! Great house and outdoor spaces for lounging, swimming, grilling, dining, etc. We definitely recommend!

Great indoor/outdoor getaway home

This home is a large, versatile, indoor/outdoor living space that was perfect for our family getaway for a week. We made full use of all of the amenities including lots of time outdoors (pool/hot tub, grilling out, al fresco dining). The kitchen was extremely well appointed which made cooking in someone else’s home far more enjoyable than usual. The proximity to downtown meant we were just a short car ride away to downtown and the square, which was great for dining and errands. The property hosts were extremely responsive to our inquiries before and during our stay, and they made logistics (e.g. check out) easy. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Enjoyed our stay

This house is in a convenient location - a short drive to Sonoma Square and the highway for travel to/around all the wineries in the Sonoma and Napa area. While we were there in Winter, it certainly would also be a great location in the warmer months with the pool and outdoor spaces.

Great House

This was the perfect home for our family to meet from different parts of the state. Layout of the home worked beautifully for three couples and two small children. The kitchen is well stocked. Bed in primary bedroom was very comfortable. Front and back yards were lovely and the screened in porch is a nice cozy area. Well appointed home. Owner has taken the time to meet all sorts of needs. Even down to the multi charging plugs on the nightstands in the primary bedroom. Great location. Will definitely stay here again for a family trip.

Nice house near Sonoma square

This house was as advertised. It is located close to the Sonoma square. The property was clean and well maintained. The outdoor space is very nice, gets good sun and our family enjoyed swimming in the pool. We were a little frustrated with the check-in process because we were arriving early and asked for an early check-in. We arrived to the property two hours before official check-in and it was already fully cleaned and ready for us. However, for no real reason we were forced to wait for two hours until the actual check-in time to be given access. We also were denied our request for a late checkout.

stick with VRBO!

The house is gorgeous, and is as pictured. However, VRBO-er, beware. Long story short, we lost a lot because of TurnKey's TERRIBLE policies. In one weekend (a week prior to our arrival at our rental), my mother-in-law passed and the event we were traveling across the country to see in Napa was cancelled due to Covid. TurnKey did not care, and would not refund or reschedule our dates. I bought insurance in 2020 when we booked this property (through the TurnKey website), but that didn't cover us, either. A local-ish friend was able to utilize the home, so at least there was a warm body in the space we invested in so long ago. I could go on for paragraphs, but the summary is this: TurnKey is awful and has no care for fellow humans. It's all about the money! Check out the FB Group "Do the right thing, TurnKey" for more harrowing stories. I will stick with my tried-and-true, VRBO, from here on out. Lesson learned.

Perfect close to town Oasis

We had a group of 7 mothers, daughters, sisters and Steve. This house had amazing outdoor space and had everything we needed inside. We loved the overall feel of the place and it was in the perfect location to wineries, the square and for morning walks to Sonoma’s Best. We would definitely stay here again.

So relaxing!

My family and I stayed here for a week in July. We loved how close it is to Sonoma and only a little bit of a drive over to Napa. We loved the beautiful kitchen and the stunning outdoor space. We used the hot tub and pool every day! The owners have taken such care in their updates and furnishings. It was a wonderful peaceful place to stay for our vacation in wine country. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful Home - Perfect Pool for Summer!

Loved the property! Perfect pool, great for hanging on a hot day with friends. The photos are very accurate - if anything, I would say the place actually feels bigger than what the photos represent. Would stay here again!

Awesome House, Bad Mgmt Company

Overall we had a great stay and this house is awesome, but it is managed by a 3rd party company called TurnKey Vacations. The house is beautifully designed and the grounds are fabulous. It served as a really great location to celebrate a few events with my group of friends (we were six total). The house feels private and has lots of space, though also paper thin walls/floors which isn't great for noise. We a had a good time. That said - it is handled by a 3rd party mgmt company. When we arrived, the Wifi in the house wasn't working. We had to get on the phone multiple times with Turnkey call center, whose best advice was to reset the router (but could not tell us where the router is). We were able to resolve it ourselves. Furthermore, when we arrived the house wasn't quite ready - all the furniture still had covers on them, and there was trash outside, so they didn't do a great job getting it ready for us. Finally, a few days after the vacation I receive a phonecall from Turnkey asking for $650 fee for usage of the pool heat - we did not use it, it was end of May in Sonoma with 90f weather so did not need the pool to be warm (didn't touch the pool settings nor was it clear there's this charge). Overall a nice stay that was marred by the involvement of a third party that really made things worse, not better. Too bad, it's a beautiful home - I would urge the homeowner to replace companies.

We had a wonderful stay - the house was great and the pool & spa were amazing.

This house is amazing and we had a wonderful weekend staying there. However renting through Turnkey was truly a nightmare - once I had booked the house, they emailed me asking to call their hotline and I was left on hold for over 2 hours each time I called (which was 3 times over 2 days). Finally after texting them and emailing them a number of times someone called me and I was able to finalize the booking. And on arrival the faucet in the kitchen sink was broken and the pipes were leaking a lot of water below it and we were only able to get hold of the representative after 10am the next day. He was very quick to respond once the clock hit 10am but i would expect someone to fix the issue ASAP for the price we paid. If I’m honest, i will never book a house through Turnkey again - it is not a pleasant experience. If I was the home owner I would change my management company.

House was perfect!

Management company was a major inconvenience. Forever waits on hold and not knowing if it was booked or not for a while was stressful . But the house was absolutely gorgeous but have a feeling loosing allot of business do to bookings.

Fabulous Property

Fabulous all around property. The pictures prove it. The only thing off is that the pictures show 4 sun umbrellas, while there were only 3 available to us. Also the master shower is a dated stall shower whose showerhead leaked all over the bathroom (I don't think shown in the photos). So if those things bother you, look elsewhere. Otherwise, we'll be back for sure assuming the master showerhead gets fixed. Thanks!

Lovely

My family and I had a relaxing time here. There was plenty of space for four teenagers, one toddler, a baby, and two adults. The location was great; we were able to ride bikes to town and several wineries. It would have been nice to have more chairs at the dining table for our large group. We also ran out of garbage bags and toilet paper and couldn’t find any more. But overall it was great.

Lovely home with great amenities

My college friends from the East Coast all flew to California to enjoy a fabulous week at this lovely home. The location was within walking distance of the downtown. We went wine tasting, toured Jack London State Park, dined in great restaurants and spent time in the spa.
