We enjoyed a friends' reunion that included 5 couples, and we had plenty of space. We loved the privacy, the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and pillows. The home was immaculate. We appreciated the wood supplied for a fire in the fire pit. I cannot think of anything that would have made our visit better. Id recommend this home to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic property

The house was everything we needed and more! It was extremely charming and unique. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. They have thought of all the little details that really make it feel like home. The property itself is in such a peaceful setting. Literally everything was perfect for our stay.

Perfect for our Crew

This house was perfect for a long weekend with friends including one 4 year old and one pup. It is large enough so people can do their own thing but also has great communal spaces for everyone to hang together. Close enough to town so it isn’t a trek but far enough away to feel secluded. The host could not have been nicer! Very happy we stayed here.

Clean and Plenty of Space

We hosted our annual Mom/kids trip with 5 moms, and 7 kids. The house was clean, had plenty of space for all, had fabulous things for all (games, pool, etc). The weather was perfect and all of us had a great time. Thank you for being wonderful hosts.

Couples Weekend

This property was perfect for our annual couples’ trip! It’s hard to find a nice place with 6 separate bedrooms and no bunk beds to accommodate 12 adults. Great location, easy ride into downtown South Haven and Saugatuck. As much as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, there were a couple things that should be mentioned: the steps and bottom of the pool were extremely slippery and caused a few of us to take a spill upon entering. No one was seriously injured, but a sign or note should be posted to alert visitors about this. Inside the house, the tap/shower water had a very strong sulfur smell which I’ve typically encountered in a cottage or cabin so it was unexpected in this setting. Otherwise, it was a terrific stay - Michelle was a great host, and we would recommend this property to families or groups traveling to this area.

wonderful property

Great pool and backyard. Wonderful layout for my family of 14 - plenty of room. Could use an update in bathrooms especially. My family complained of smelly well water. Overall, we loved it!!!!

Summer Fun

The property is beautiful, with the pool and outdoor sitting areas as focal points. The house, although a bit dated, offered plenty of functional room for our family of 12. The house was clean and the property managers were very responsive and helpful. Overall, this was a great place for a family vacation.

The property was very much as advertised. There were 6 well spaced bedroom and plenty of bathrooms. The pool was steps away from the backdoor and accessible to our entire group. The kitchen was well-stocked for our group. We had a great time and Michelle was very attentive.

Best location and Pool!

These owners went well beyond having all the supplies for our stay we could ever need! The pool, ping-pong, pool table, foosball, cornhole, made our whole trip so enjoyable. Also, we were very close to the beach and the main downtown, which was absolutely adorable.

Beautiful and Secluded Property

This is a beautiful home in a very secluded area. It's a large property with lovely foliage all around. The home is spacious and comfortable and communication with the owner was top notch. My stay was with 4 girlfriends - 5 adults total. We had plenty of private space as well as common areas for games and chatting. I cannot stress enough how CLEAN this home is! Not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere and the bed linens were impeccably clean and smelled fresh.

A Family Wedding

We travelled to South Haven for a family wedding and were looking for a large home that could accommodate having the extended family stay together at one home with sufficient bathrooms. This house truly fit the bill for what we were looking for! The secluded and beautifully manicured lot was so nice to come home to and the built in pool was a source of enjoyment for all who wanted to enjoy it into the late hours of the night without disturbing anyone else due to its great and very private location on the property. We appreciated having two refrigerators and the fully equipped kitchen. A couple of minor issues were that one of the burners on the stove top did not work which made cooking for a large group a little slower (but we would not downgrade our stay because of that) and luckily we brought an extra griddle! In addition, the person who stayed in the (very nice) basement felt that the bedroom was a little "damp" feeling. All in all-this is an outstanding property for a large group that wishes to gather and catch up and it was also perfect for our 90 year-old Grandmother who got the main floor bedroom with her own bathroom right across the hall for easy access. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay in South Haven and a time where the family could truly visit and catch up! We would love to come back sometime.

beautiful mature property

This was a great place for my family. 6 bedrooms with king and queen beds... we didn't use all of the bedrooms but I'm glad we chose this place. My sons' wedding was held at Black River Barn (a beautiful venue), and the rehearsal dinner was at the Ravine in Saugatuck, so we were in-between the two.. Thursday we had cocktails after they golfed, with some of the groomsmen. It reminded of when the boys were young and would come over after a big hockey game and all play together. They used everything except the pool that night... basketball, pool table, ping pong, fire pit and foosball. There was a lot of hoot and hollering so, I was glad we had no neighbors, and just like when they were small, I stuffed them into our SUV and drove them home. Saturday my husband cooked breakfast for the groomsmen and had everything he needed in the kitchen. The Property was beautiful, a lot of different mature trees. I bet it's beautiful with the fall colors. Sunday the little ones used the pool. it was chilly outside but the pool was warm. I was a great place to stay.

All the Bells and Whistles

Beautiful property and beautiful, extremely clean home. Owners were quick to respond to a slight issue and help rectify. Pool was a big hit even though weather was not cooperative. It was a blessing that the pool was heated! We loved having campfires at night. All in all, would highly recommend this property.

Great for a Large Family

Plenty of room for my wife and I, our three adult children, their spouses and our five grandchildren. Two refrigerators came in handy. Lots of fun in the pool, playing ping-pong, making s’mores at the fire pit, etc. Also close to golf and Holland (20 min).

Beautiful stay

I would recommend staying at this property. The property manager and associates were all very helpful. The property itself was in a very pretty setting, lots of trees, privacy, gorgeous landscaping, pool and overall house design were very relaxing and peaceful. The house is a bit older and does have some spots that could use some updates. For example, the kitchen is galley style and with 12 people, it was pretty tight, with a funny semi-circle countertop protruding into the walkway. There is one bedroom that does not have a closet or bath attached so in hindsight, we should have put smaller kids in there. Overall, the stay was great - the property managers were very responsive with any little issues we had (including my nephew knocking over and breaking a lamp). They were very understanding and helpful, even visiting the house to make sure our wi-fi was fixed, etc. The quiet setting was great but about a 10 minute drive to downtown South Haven. Some in our group loved that, others did not so keep that in mind if booking to be close to the beach or downtown shops, restaurants. We used the grill, fire pit and pool a lot. All worked great and helped save time and money from going out with 12 people every night. I would recommend staying here and we are thinking about bringing our group back again next year.

South Haven Home

Our annual family outing with children. This is an exceptional place with an in ground pool, and several acres of woods to explore. We also enjoyed the fire pit, roasted marshmallows for s’mores, and late night socializing. It was our second stay.
