  • Cottage 3C is a charming and beautifully appointed two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage offering a wonderful combination of comfort, flexibility, and classic Sleepy Hollow charm. With its welcoming atmosphere and thoughtfully designed living spaces, this cottage is an excellent choice for families or friends looking to enjoy a relaxing Lake Michigan getaway.

    The inviting open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area creates a comfortable gathering space where everyone can spend time together. The living area features a queen-size sleeper sofa, providing additional sleeping accommodations while maintaining a spacious and comfortable setting for relaxing after a day at the beach or pool. The adjoining kitchen and dining area make it easy to prepare meals, enjoy casual breakfasts, or gather together in the evenings.

    The primary bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed, while the second bedroom offers twin bunk beds plus an additional twin bed, making it especially well suited for children or additional guests. Together with the queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area, Cottage 3C can accommodate up to seven guests. Central air conditioning provides added comfort throughout the cottage during warm summer days.

    One of the most distinctive features of Cottage 3C is its ability to adjoin with neighboring Cottage 3A, a one-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage. When reserved together, the two cottages create a spacious three-bedroom, two-bathroom retreat, providing an excellent option for extended families, multiple generations, or friends vacationing together. The adjoining arrangement allows everyone to remain connected while still enjoying the added space and privacy of separate accommodations.

    Guests of Cottage 3C also enjoy access to the exceptional amenities of Sleepy Hollow Beach Resort, including 1,000 feet of private Lake Michigan beach with direct access, an Olympic-sized heated swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, beautifully maintained resort grounds, and recreational activities for guests of all ages. Summer kick off!

Beach access was great! Clean beach/property. Minutes from town, shops, restaurants, public beaches. Tons of amenities.

Heaven on earth. The property is right on the beach, has a big grassy field with volleyball set up, great playground, outdoor pingpong table, heated pool, pickleball and basketball courts. The house was just what we needed, comfortable and clean. I can't say enough about this location. Also very responsive.

Sleepy hallow has it all

Great weekend here! We loved being able to see the lake & beach steps away from our unit. It was nice to do lap swimming in the morning even on cooler days with the heated pool, minutes away from the other beaches & downtown too. Will be back :)

❤️ Sleepy Hollow

Our Sleepy Hollow stay was great. Unit was neat and clean. Resort was very quiet. We were steps from the pool and play ground. And beach was within walking distance. 4 adults and 1 small child. We will definitely be back!

I only booked this place because i was told we can get married on the beach there and have a cook out after. Was told 3 hours before my wedding that we can no longer do that but far the worst experience ever. Not to mention the bedroom lock was broken and other guest letting there kid go naked on the beach so i could not take my kids down to enjoy the beach. The only nice thing about the place is the pool.

The location and grounds are absolutely gorgeous! The private beach and serene, family setting were amazing. Every path edged and flower bed perfect with lots of different varieties of plants. There’s endless activities too. The pool was lovely and even had a lifeguard on duty. The view of Lake Michigan was breathtaking and the steps to the beach were new and nice. The accommodations could just use that same level of attention. We had several light bulbs out in our rental. It was very musty. Overall it seemed like it had been cleaned, but maybe shut up for awhile. In the master bed, we both just rolled to the middle. The coffee pot was so old it took forever to brew and some wiggling. The refrigerator worked fine, but looked like it had sat outside for a couple years. Our back deck had lovely outdoor seating, but it was covered and really dirty pillows underneath. Would have loved something more basic and clean to eat outside, etc.This unit has no dishwasher or laundry. But kitchen soap and towels were provided. There was a nice assortment of games and plenty of clean towels. The door locks are old and a bit tricky, but we felt successful once we caught on. The pickleball court made our day and we enjoyed one of the hammocks too. We have T-Mobile and service was terrible, so we were grateful for the WiFi. A few tweaks and this place could be really really perfect. We had a great time, beautiful weather and relaxing stay.

The grounds are beautifully maintained, the staff is wonderful and the arts and crafts time greatly enjoyed by my grandchildren.

Kitchen was poorly stocked. Beach has eroded to nothing. Pool still nice. We come every year because it’s a family tradition but if it wasn’t we’d choose to go elsewhere - we could take an overseas trip for the same price.

The location was perfect! The Unit 3C was small but clean. A few things that would make this unit more acceptable are: a washer/dryer (in the basement, perhaps), a dishwasher, a land-line telephone (cell reception at the resort was virtually non-existent), a TV in the bedroom, a rocking chair, a paper towel holder, teaspoons, a full-length mirror, and the screen door needs to be repaired.

We love sleepy hollow

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Resort is wonderful, we have been going for 48 years. We love the location and facilities. Had some trouble working with new front desk staff and cleaning staff to get into our room, they were very late and were even worse at providing any kind of update. We were told several times it should be ready within 15-30 minutes which extended to about 5 hours so we could not go anywhere or do anything until we got our stuff moved in. Hopefully that part will get better.3C is a bit cramped, great for housing several kids but not enough space to gather or do anything.
