Everything about this rental was amazing. Walking distance from the beach. Private pool is right out the bedroom door. Landscaping was really pretty.

We recommend smaller shower hhead that swivels and clean pooll for every stay and atleast for rolls of toilet paper and most important red tape on kichen floor drop off we all nearly tripped other than thaat everything was perfect oh and need plug in to smell good cause it smelled like bug spray

Great location.

Very nice place for the price. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to most places we wanted to go. The only downside is the pool is not heated, and the ceiling is not very soundproof. The upstairs guests had children staying with them and it sounded like cattle every day around 7 am or so. Other than that we had a great stay.

Demasiadas restricciones y el unico problema que tuvimos fue con el drenaje de los lava manos y el fregadero no se iba bien el agua (primer y segundo piso). En cuanto empezabamos a cocinar se actibaban los detectores de humo del primer piso (decidimos cocinar en el segundo piso). Disfrutamos mucho la estancia. La alberca muy agradable.

Pros: close to the beach, bed comfortable and nice dining room table with open floor planCons: bathroom is awful, living room furniture is awful, kitchen floor is awful, the outdoor area needs to be cleaned. Outdoor furniture and area was disgusting. Area around washer and dryer was filthy. Was ready to go home I don't feel like I'm picky just not what we thought. The couple times we reached out to management they were very attentive to our needs.

This place was fine, however I would not stay here again. -- Great location and parking -- Overpowering chemical smells through out the entire property (pest control? mold? unclear, but truly awful) -- Poorly functioning AC -- DOWNSTAIRS unit, which was not entirely apparent to me when booking. Consequently, low ceilings, many noises from above unit, and vibes that feel like you are in a converted garage -- Bathroom extremely beat up meh!

We absolutely loved everything about this home all the amenities had a large dining room table cutely decorated everything was clean nice outdoor grill beautiful little swimming pool at night till being not far from the beach and everything on the strip the only downfall to this house is it is not for tall people my husband kept hitting his head on the beans and he stands 6 ft 4 so if you're a tall person I suggest this is something to think about and the little tiny step drop in the kitchen by the fridge was the only two things that we ever had an issue with.

Location is great…

We loved being so close to the beach. It was plenty roomy for two people. We had a lot of issues with the shower. Constantly smelled like sewer and we had to remove the screen every time we showered for the water to drain. This isn’t the fist this alga’s happened as you could smell the mildew where water has gotten under the laminate floor. It would have been nice to have a swiffer or dust mop, being that close to the beach it seemed the sand came in no matter what. The ceilings were very low so watch your head!

Okay with some forewarning

Look, we enjoyed our vacation but this wasn’t the highlight. The pictures must be outdated and the place has suffered some damage and neglect that haven’t been addressed. With some clean up though, it could be great. The shower was small but expected based on photos; however, what it doesn’t show is the mold that has started to grow in the bathroom from the dampness and lack of ventilation. The floor has warped and separated in the kitchen. BUT the pool is nice (once construction all around it is complete), the bed and couches are comfortable and clean, the proximity to the beach is amazing, and Vacasa was easy to work with. Just rent at your discretion knowing the shortcomings.

Worst vacation property and horrible customer service! Don’t waste your time or money!

Unfortunately, this was the worst vacation rental property I’ve ever stayed in. The only good quality about it is the distance to public beach access. At first glance the place looked clean and cute. But after walking around for a short time, I realized how filthy the place actually was. My 9 month old daughter was covered in dog hair and dirt from crawling around on the floor. I went out back to look at the pool and it was absolutely filthy. The party renting the upstairs part of the home had their child out there cleaning the pool on Wednesday morning and I advised them that I wouldn’t trust that the water was actually clean enough to swim in. The blankets on the bed are about as comfortable as paper towels, so I had to have my husband drive all the way from McAllen to bring us some comforters to add to the beds. We also had him bring extra toilet paper and trash bags since we were only provided two rolls for a 5 day stay and one trash bag. The second night I took a shower and the drain backed up and flooded the whole bathroom. It smelled like rotten eggs, permanently, after that. We had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times to prevent the smell from going into the other areas. We also had to use our towels to clean up the water and they only provided us with 4 towels. Original stay was booked for Monday-Friday, but after spending hours messaging and speaking on the phone with customer service we checked out Wednesday. They refunded us $60 from a $800 reservation.

really cool place, well stocked. Wish i had had time to take a dip in the cute little pool. very close to the beach and downtown. were lucky enough to see the Starship launch from the fishing jetty. arrived 3 hours early and were unable to get early check-in. check in/check out times are brutal...in at 4:00 p.m. and out at 10:00 a.m.....coulda used those 6 hours in the pool. lol

Small Cielings, even smaller shower

Very short ceilings, be aware when booking. Restroom and shower were very small and had a slow drain, nothing like having your feet submerged while showering. Everything was neat and in order, unit had a constant odor that would not go away, possibly from AC units, we used febreeze to help but still could not get rid of odor. Unit was not what we expected and we wouldn't stay here again.

Great stay!

Great communication with the the manager , close to the beach. It had a very comfortable bed & furniture. It had a well equipped kitchen. Also, it was very clean. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you!

Nice place with a few issues

We loved the house overall. The problem was there was a very strong odor and the ceiling is so short. My husband is 6’2”. He kept hitting his head on the ceiling going into the bedroom and also on the ceiling fans. I would say if you are taller rent the upstairs unit. We only stayed one night and had to check into a hotel.

Located near the middle of the populated part of the island, 1/2 block from beach access ocean side. Several restaurants, bars near, none far. Ground floor unit so no elevators. walk right in to open dining, living. kitchen area. 2 nice sized bedrooms, small bath with shower, laundry in shed on back patio. Enjoyable stay
