I asked to cancel my second night stay and get a refund due to the fact that this noise issue is not disclosed in the posting. « If I could give it more stars, I would. This lovely cottage is clean and comfortable and offers everything you need to enjoy a waterfront experience. The views are spectacular and we saw all kinds of wildlife right from the deck. An eagle, otters, seals, dolphins, herons and more. Amazing. We hope to return someday. »

« The house was adorable on the inside and had everything we needed. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of some safety issues with the stairs. The steep stairs to the attic lack a handrail and the older members of our family didn't feel comfortable going up there. I was nervous about our 2 kids going up and down those stairs as well. « The lake was beautiful, but the property didn’t feel very clean (stained cloth furniture, spider webs). The quality of the pots/pans was awful for what I paid for the rental fees and not much was provided for disposables like tissues, dish soaps.
