3BR 2BA, Spearfish Retreat, Deck & Fenced Yard

Welcome to Floridakota Lodge. After a day chasing waterfalls in Spearfish Canyon or winding through the Black Hills, this is the house you want to come home to. Peel off your boots in a big, sunlit living room. Turn the kids loose in the fenced backyard while dinner comes together in the granite kitchen. Then end the night around the fire table on the deck, watching the sky go wide over the plains. There`s a king suite to disappear into and enough room for everyone to land in their own corner.

This is a house built for a group that came to the Black Hills to actually be together. The main level opens up under vaulted ceilings, so the person cooking, the crew on the couch, and whoever`s drifting out to the deck are all still in the same conversation. The kitchen does real work: granite counters with room to spread out, full-size appliances, and both a drip pot and a Keurig for the two kinds of coffee drinkers you always end up traveling with. Six of you sit down to dinner without anyone eating off their lap.

When the day winds down, there are two places to land. Upstairs, the living room and its leather sectional are steps from the deck. Downstairs, a second living space gives the kids a movie room, the early risers a quiet spot, or the whole group a place to sprawl on game night. Nobody`s fighting over the one couch.

The deck is where this house earns its keep. A gas fire table, comfortable seating, and long open views across a big fenced yard, the kind of backyard where kids and dogs can run themselves out while the adults hold the good chairs. In the morning, the king primary opens straight onto a seperate deck.

Everyone sleeps well here. The king primary is its own retreat with a walk-in tile shower steps away. A bright twin room is made for kids or a pair of friends, and a queen downstairs gives another couple or guest real privacy.

*Pet friendly with a $75 Pet Fee and you are responsible for your pet and will need follow the pet rules in the house rules.

*Propane Exchanges: We do not always directly exchange propane tanks. If we are unable to, we will reimburse for up to 2 tanks per reservation.

* Reservations made by local residents require additional review and approval before confirmation.

* All gatherings are subject to prior approval by management and must be disclosed before booking. Please note that visitors are not permitted to stay overnight. Violation may incur a penalty fee.

You will have full access to the entire house.

We’re available to help from 7 AM to 10 PM every day via call, text, or message. After hours, we switch to emergency-only mode, phone calls only, please. And fair warning: I’m a heavy sleeper, so you might need to call twice to wake me up! 😴📞
House Rules
As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our home while keeping the property safe and in good condition.

Smoking
No smoking or aerosolized substances of any kind are allowed on the property, including vaping. If you are caught violating this rule within 50 feet of the structure, a minimum $250 fine will be charged, and the guest will be liable for the full smoke mitigation cost billed by a professional company.

Quiet Hours
Please respect the neighborhood and keep noise at a normal conversational volume between 10 pm and 8 am.

Occupancy & Guests
This home is booked for up to 6 guests. Only the guests listed on the reservation may stay in the home. Please do not have additional visitors on the property without host approval.

General Damages
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so we can address it. Our cleaners inspect for damage and missing items after every stay. Any damage or missing items occurring during your stay will be billed to the guest.

Fire Prevention & Safety
Please turn off and unplug small appliances when they are not in use, including space heaters, hair curlers and straighteners, and portable chargers. You are welcome to run the heat, AC, and fans for your comfort, just set them to a reasonable level.

Parties
This is a residential neighborhood, not an event venue. If a party is held without host permission, A minimum $500 dollar charge will be added, guests will be responsible for any additional cleaning and damage charges and will be asked to vacate immediately without any refund of remaining nights.

Crime & Drugs
If guests are suspected of breaking the law or storing, selling, or using illegal drugs of any kind, authorities will be engaged and guests will be asked to leave immediately.

Consumables
We may leave consumables such as coffee and small snacks for you to enjoy. We do our best to keep them fresh, but it is ultimately up to the guest to inspect these items before consuming them.

Cleaning
Before you go, please take the trash out to the outdoor can, and wash your dishes and/or load and run the dishwasher. We will handle the rest. Your cleaning fee covers disinfecting the home, laundry, restaging, and cleaning bathrooms, floors, and surfaces between guests. It does not cover damage such as marks on walls, damaged linens or furniture, gouges in flooring, or broken items. If the property is left in poor condition relative to the average guest, the host may charge an additional cleaning fee.
