« Everything about the property and location was excellent. Lots of space and everything you could need for a great stay. There is a beautiful hike right out the back of the property full of aspens. The hosts were really communicative the entire time and the tenant who lives in the basement (separate entrance) was lovely and very welcoming. »

« We live the Bear Bait and Wolf Den cabins. Great stop before we head into the mountains for our camping trip! We do prefer wolf den given its distance from other visitors but both are nearly identical. »

« Our cabin was beautiful and so roomy. Loved the kitchen and not sure I’ve ever seen a bathroom as big as the master. Didn’t use the huge jetted tub but I’m sure it was relaxing. We did take advantage of the hot tub. It was a big hit with our family. Super comfy beds too. « We loved our stay at the Laughing Coyote. If you are looking for quiet and solitude, this is the place. The cabin was comfy and had everything we needed. We explored the MANY trails around the area and fell more in love with the western side of the San Juans. Helpful info to know: you are 38 miles (1 hour drive) from Dolores on dirt roads. The roads to/from Rico are not as maintained so the drive is over an hour. The distance didn't bother us, since the views are breathtaking either direction....
