My sister and I enjoyed our stay at the Beachers Lodge in Crescent Beach Florida. Our rooms were nice and clean. It was also convenient to have several restaurants right across the street so we did not even have to drive anywhere.
Room, pool, location all great. Many restaurants. Only complaints are regarding the parking and not having a space near our room which was right off the parking lot and too few washer and dryers for the amount of rooms. Nice management and we were asked daily if we needed anything. Many pets and good pet area. Lots of dogs on beach and St Augustine beach is the best!!
Loved the access to the beach, #1 reason why you should stay!
Room was alright, beds comfortable. Id recommend keeping blinds shut if you want it cool in there.
Recommend a larger area for dogs , their âpotty areaâ is quite small when there are other dogs in there that arenât so friendly.
Overall, our stay was great. The location was excellent (directly on the beach with restaurants like Safe Harbor and an ice cream shop less than a minute walk). The room itself was very small, which is as advertised and perfect if you're planning on sleeping there and nothing more. We were planning on using the community grills for cooking, but didn't have enough room in our fridge to grocery shop more than deli meat and bread and some canned beverages. The sink was slow to drain in the bathroom and some of the dishware was dirty when we arrived, making us question the cleanliness. These things, however, were minor and we would definitely stay again / recommend to others.
Nice clean pool just steps from the beach next door to seafood restaurant and across the street from a gas station great location with dollar general right down the street
I usually have the worst time with back pain on vacations. They had nice mattresses and plenty of pillows (may want to bring something firm if your like me, but pillows where all great very fluffy and new). The nephews loved it! Everything was there we needed. Front desk got me some cleaning spray so I could clean, Iâd say overall the only thing Iâd of like to see in the cabinets was cleaning supplies
Booked through VRBO not the property site. Arrive on Jan 29 and find that the pool is closed until Feb 3 and then find maintenance being done that produces a highly toxic silica dust and mess. Yes we were moved to an ocean front room that was majorly outdated but had an awesome view, thankful yes, but we booked here because of the heated pool. Find out on Feb 4 that the pool is now closed to the 15th. They acted like we should know. Sure the facility site was updated that day but VRBO listing showed no maintenance planned or mention of the pool closure. Considered rebooking again for next year until we got the cold shoulder about the pool closure. Several hundred rooms with only one washer available for use. We ended up going to a laundromat. Very disappointed to say the least.
Complex/unit were both easily accessible, and check in/check out was a breeze. Unit was very clean and tidy, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed with up to date appliances. Strong shower with plenty of hot water (so many rentals have skimpy shower pressure these days, lol). Plenty of linens, and large fluffy towels. Loved the very large TV with tons of channels/streaming services. Beds were comfy. Had no maintenance/noise/neighbor issues. Unit is just a few steps from office, and staff was very friendly.
For some reason I thought the room had a direct ocean view but I realized I made a mistake. I went to the lobby and said, I think you got me the wrong room and he said your not the first one that got the wrong impression. Also ants got into my daughter's cereal in the kitchen area. Other than that we enjoyed getting your dog washed crossed the street at soggy dog place. that was the best thing of my trip.
