The hotel employees were so kind each one I encountered. The biggest flaw was that the hot water would often not get hot at night but be scalding hot in the morning which was a negative for sure. The room was nice, beds are comfortable, it’s in a safe area and the breakfast was great. The water heater was the biggest downside other than that it was great.

The staff were very good. The morning breakfast was fine. The facility itself is modern and fairly new. However, the bed linens had stains, and there was hair in the bed. There was hair all over the bathroom floor, and there were mold stains in the shower curtain.

Floor was sticky. Staff was nice. Bugs in the room. Stains on the sheets. Asked for the floors to be cleaned. They were not. Sheets didn’t fit the bed. Climate control not working. Never ever going back.

Hard to find the property the address is confusing, the property is really not on the exact address and hard to figure out, needs a signage on 5th street. Bed very comfortable, however the shower never got hot and the volume of water was so low took much time to rinse.

The amenities were not working, specifically the pool. The shampoo bottles and toilet paper were stocked for one day, but they only service the rooms every two days. Unresponsive to calls. Staff acted like I was a Karen at all times, even just for legitimate toilet paper requests. Seemed like a new hotel but the trim and walls were ripped up.

This was the perfect spot to stop on the 1st leg of our journey. It was right off I-70. It was a little funky to get to the entrance was NOT well marked.The property is just over 1 year old. So very nice, clean and bright! New December 2023. Close enough to a charming downtown with unique restaurants so don't just have to go to chain restaurants. Staff very helpful. I did note the roller shades needed attention and staff was very receptive to my alerting that this was an issue.

This was a very clean nice place to stay. The front desk help was very pleasant. The girls name was Rebeka so kind. The room was very nice. Good lighting in the bathroom for me to do my makeup a lot of times the lighting is awful. Great location

The location is just right for visiting the Historic Downtown St. Charles area or the Ameristar Casino. Both are a walkable distance.

Not true to times
We were to have a 3pm check-in. We were told it would be 10-30 min. At 4:45 we had to leave to get to event. We were told we would receive a call when room was ready. Never received. We came back at 7:30 and told our room became available but she lost our number.

This property was new just a couple of years ago. Everything still looks new, however, in our room the walls needed to be repaired. The room cleanliness was also a huge issue. The floors were dirty, and the end tables were not clean. The hotel is very close to restaurants and shopping on Main Street.

We were very disappointed with our check in experience. We arrived around 1:00pm as we were attending a wedding which started at 3:00. We asked if any rooms were available for early check in. There were not, which was completely ok, as we know check in time is 3pm and had planned to get ready in a friend’s room who was already there. We attended the wedding ceremony at 3pm and arrived back to the hotel at 4pm and were told the rooms were still not ready and they could not tell us when they would be ready. We had a little time before the reception started, so we sat in the hotel lobby, anticipating that we’d be able to get checked in shortly. We waited for over an hour, observing others being able to check in and obtain their rooms. When asking we were told they were sorry but our specific rooms were not clean yet. We finally said we needed to get to the reception and any room would do, we just wanted to be able to get settled before our late return that night. We finally got a room around 5:15, our friends got theirs around 5:30 and we were 30 minutes late to the wedding reception. The staff was kind and apologetic but it was unacceptable to have to wait 2 hours after check in time for a room, especially when others were given rooms as soon as they walked in the door. This hotel was very nice, but I will be hesitant to stay again due to the apparent staffing issues which caused our plans to be disrupted.

The room was not ready by 3pm for check in. Upon going to bed the sheets where to small for the bed and would not stay on. Called front desk they said if we wanted new sheets we would have to come get them and put them on ourselves. Really shouldn’t have to for the price they charge.
