Oleander Cottage is being thoughtfully expanded and redesigned to give families more room to enjoy St. Simons Island together. With six bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, two living rooms, two laundry rooms, and a larger kitchen, the renovated home will welcome up to 14 guests. A private pool, inviting outdoor spaces, and a location approximately 0.6 miles from the beach complete the setting for a relaxed coastal getaway.

The Home
Oleander Cottage's renovation brings a generous new layout to this welcoming island retreat. Designed to feel like “two homes in one,” the expanded home will offer shared gathering spaces alongside separate areas where guests can unwind at their own pace.

Two living rooms give your group options throughout the day, whether everyone is coming together for a movie or some guests prefer a quieter place to relax. The larger kitchen will offer more room for preparing beach-day breakfasts, easy lunches, and family dinners.

Six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms will accommodate up to 14 guests, making Oleander Cottage an appealing choice for extended families and friends vacationing together. Two laundry rooms add convenience for longer stays and busy days at the beach and pool.

The owners are working with Emily Maxi at Brooks Design on room layouts, furnishings, and finishing details to bring a cohesive coastal feel to the expanded home.
Bedroom configurations and bedding details will be added once confirmed by the designer.

Outdoor Living
Oleander Cottage's backyard offers another place to make the most of your island stay. Enjoy morning coffee on the screened porch, spend an afternoon beside the private pool, or gather around the outdoor fireplace as the evening cools.

The renovation includes plans to enlarge the pool, with the final design still being developed. Optional pool heating will be available for an additional fee.

Location
Located approximately 0.6 miles from beach access near the King & Prince, Oleander Cottage makes it easy to work beach time into your daily plans. Hop on a bicycle for a ride to the shore, spend the afternoon by the water, and return home to relax with your group.

The Village, local shops, and some of St. Simons Island's favorite restaurants are also nearby, giving you plenty to explore between beach days and time at the pool.

VayKLife Beach Gear Credit
Lilmar Vacations partners with VayKLife to make beach days even easier. Eligible guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights include a $40-per-night credit that can be used toward available beach gear rentals and experiences, including bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards.

Cancellation Policy

For reservations of 29 nights or fewer:
Cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival receive a 100% refund.
Cancellations made 14 to 29 days before arrival receive a 50% refund.

For reservations of 30 nights or more:
Cancellations made 60 days or more before arrival receive a 100% refund.
Cancellations made 30 to 59 days before arrival receive a 50% refund.
