We loved the proximity to the beach. Snorkeling right from the shore was good with lots of variety. We used all three (4 if you count the coffee/cafe place) of the local restaurants. Lots of variety without having to get in the car. Towels, sheets, other bedding were all provided. Would definitely recommend to others.

Spectacular View and Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. Entering the complex was through a security gate, and the check-in was easy. We were sent instructions for unlocking the condo the day of check-in. Cooking/baking/meal supplies (incl.paper towels), some cleaning supplies, and extra bedding were provided. There were some beach items provided - towels, noodles, and toys for children. One of the bathrooms had a hair dryer and both bathrooms had body wash. There was also a washer and dryer. The view of this condo, because it was on the 3rd floor, was amazing. There are two balconies - one on each floor - and each has a pergola to let sun in but keep some sun out. From the balconies, we could see the variation in color of the turquoise waters, St John, and some of the British Isles. This condo was a very short walking distance to 3 on-property restaurants and 1 on-property coffee/quick shop. Very basic items were for purchase: Advil, Tylenol, feminine products, snacks. The condo wasn't close to the pool, but we floated in the clear-water ocean during the day - the ocean was also steps away from the condo. As a patron of Sapphire Beach Club, we got free beach chairs. Going to town is an 8/7 min cab ride (Red Hook ferry, grocery, ice cream, market). The downside for someone with health issues, is there are two flights of steps up to the condo and one in the condo. We had a couple maintenance issues, but they were handled promptly. Otherwise, it's a wonderful place to stay! Highly recommended!

Must see to believe.

I can’t say enough good things about our recent stay at this condo on Sapphire Beach. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The condo is right on the beach—waking up to the sound of the waves and walking just a few steps to the sand each day was a dream. The place was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed.A huge thank you to Brooke, Sydnee, and Lynze, your hospitality was incredible. You made us feel so welcome and were always quick to respond if we had any questions. You really went above and beyond to make our trip smooth and memorable.Also, if you stay here, don’t miss Sea Salt Restaurant next door. The food, the views, the vibe—it was one of the best dining experiences we had on the island.Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing, beachfront escape. We’re already talking about coming back!

Enjoyed St. Thomas. Beautiful island chain and beaches. People friendly and happy. Main problem was the electric on the island is not reliable and went in and out consistently. The Condo is on the 3rd and 4th floor and is an issue for elderly who have problems with climbing steps, particularly schlepping luggage. The condo was a little dated, but right on the beach with a great view. Cab rides require cash. There is a bus for a dollar that runs regularly, but you'll have to climb a steep hill to get to the main road to catch it.

Perfect Getaway Location

My husband and I stayed here with our children. Spacious and comfortable enough for a family of 4. The location is perfect to get around the island or you can just stay on the property because the restaurant and bar is right next door to the condo. Some reviews I read said that it can get a little noisy at the bar but we didn’t experience this. We will absolutely book this property for our next stay in St. Thomas.

Our stay at the beachfront condo in St. Thomas was nothing short of spectacular. The location is unbeatable, situated directly on the beach with stunning ocean views right from the window. The accessibility to Redhook was excellent, with a quick 3 to 4-minute taxi ride costing just six dollars per person. For everyday needs, Moe’s grocery store is conveniently located about 3 miles away and has everything you might need. The condo’s proximity to local amenities is a huge plus. Within a minute or two of walking, you’ll find a charming little bar, a local restaurant, and a boutique. The pool, just a minute’s walk to the right of the condo, is perfect for a refreshing dip. Additionally, the boarding dock for boats and jet skis is also nearby, offering reasonably priced hourly and daily rentals. This setup makes it incredibly easy to enjoy the water activities that St. Thomas is famous for. The condo itself was perfect!! We loved using the 2 patios facing the beautiful views and a cute eating area off of one of the decks—-met all of our needs. It was so comfortable and well-equipped that I could easily see myself living there permanently. Overall, this little slice of heaven truly feels like paradise. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy the best of what St. Thomas has to offer.

Disappointing stay in Red Hook

I paid for this overpriced property a year in advance. The property is managed by Brooke and Sydney. They said they would contact me 3-5 days before arriving. I had to contact them at 7 pm the night before we were going to arrive otherwise I wouldn't know where I was going or how to get in. They never acknowledged their poor service, just blew it off. While staying there they don't tell you it's right next to the bar so it can get pretty loud. They also don't tell you they drop off cruise ship passengers there 3-4 days of the week so the beach is full. While there our upstairs air conditioning never worked. The condenser had overloaded so water began pouring out of the ceiling. Considering the stains on the ceiling, this had happened before. They sent a crew over to fix this and were in our unit a whole day plus the night before. I told them I wanted two days refund but the spineless owner only agreed to one. When I told them I was going to write a bad review he took that day back. Don't ever rent this unit and don't book ANYTHING with Brooke and Sydney. They are the absolute worst. VRBO did refund all my fees!

Great view and mostly quiet location.

We had a great time and the location served us perfectly as we explored St Thomas. The only complaint I have is not because of the actual condo. There were 4 cruise ships in port on the other side of the island, and they bused a ton of people to the fairly small beach that the property faces. We had to leave that day to find a much quieter beach.

Great location in St. Thomas

This property is on one of the best beaches in St. Thomas. Saphire beach is beautiful and clean. There are free lounge chairs and free parking. The marina at Saphire beach has plenty of excursions so you don’t even need to drive anywhere. Great restaurants with in walking from the condo. Meant of room for a family to spread out. Easy checkin. A great stay!!!

Could not ask for a better location

The title says it all about the property. With Red Hook close and great food on the property you can stay “at home” or venture out via ferry to St John or the BVI. We did a charter with Stormy Pirate to The Baths and it was exceptional. The only negative was property maintenance. The AC has some technical and maintenance problems that were highlighted in a Jan 24 review by Manny M. Those remain.

Great location, poor communication & check-in experience

We've stayed at Sapphire Beach multiple times in different units, and the location and amenities can't be beat. However, our recent stay was marred by significant issues, primarily stemming from poor communication during check-in. Despite repeated requests, we received no response regarding early check-in confirmation and instructions, leaving us frustrated and anxious. After multiple attempts from us and from VRBO, we finally reached the management company, who seemed unaware of our prior communication efforts and failed to provide updates as promised. On a positive note, the unit itself was well-maintained and modern, with comfortable beds, ample towels, and modern amenities like good TVs and a well-equipped kitchen. However, we encountered small cockroaches initially, and the absence of advertised beach chairs was disappointing. Though pest control was dispatched promptly, it didn't fully address the issue for the following days. Additionally, the upstairs AC was ineffective compared to the downstairs unit. To improve the guest experience, we suggest the management company provide travel toiletries, beach chairs, and consider a small welcome gesture like water or wine. Reevaluating the furniture layout downstairs for better TV viewing comfort would also enhance the stay. Overall, improved communication is crucial for a property of this caliber to maintain its reputation and ensure a satisfactory experience for guests.

Sapphire beach is beautiful. It was easy to take cabs to red hook or to the St. John ferry. Tacos, coffee and pizza next door. Great snorkeling.

Wonderful place

The view from this place was amazing. Probably the most beautiful sunrises I've ever seen. The condo had everything we needed and the kitchen was so well stocked. Loved that it was close to the bar, restaurant and taxi stand. Also appreciated that beach chairs were provided. The only negative (for us) that I would report is that the a/c upstairs struggled to keep us as cool as we would have liked (we like to sleep cool). There was a ceiling fan and also a portable fan which helped. Of course, the positives outweigh that negative. We had a wonderful, relaxing trip.

Luxury with everything at your fingertips!

Accommodations are beautiful, beachy, and the access to the top beach on the island makes this spot worth every penny. Not only is this resort the place to be--this specific unit is the one you want. It's steps from the beach, restaurants, and there's easy parking. We really could not have had a better experience.

We love sapphire beach, the location is great but the condo is terrible. I’m not sure where to start, the ac vents had mold on them and one of them was leaking on top of the second bed. We had our daughter sleeping on it and she couldn’t go back to sleep. We mentioned it to the host and they sent someone day before our last day to check I guess the leak. There are cockroaches in the downstairs bathroom and kitchen. The host for some reason did not charge us for the trip until the 5th day of our stay, we had no idea because in the past they split your payment into 2 or 3. They did not give us any heads up about it. My debit card would not authorize a large sum, because debit cards have daily limit on them, so while we are on a excursion they called me 15 times and sent me a message saying they will call the authorities on us. So while on our excursion I had to find a 2 separate cards to split the bill for the full stay. Overall horrible condo, great location I would avoid using this unit and the other ones they own. Not sure what kind of shenanigans they are running. If you can find other unit at this location you would be much better off.
