« Sean, We had the best year of fishing in over a decade. The property is awesome, and access to the water is easy. One silly item would be more hooks on the wall to hang clothing. Also, I wasn't sure how to turn on the baseboard heater in the bedroom. I turned on the bathroom and left the door open. »

Too early for river sports but there’s plenty of hiking in the area’s many parks, easy access to services with a walk across the bridge to Callicoon (market, restaurants, movie theatre, a few shops) or just be still to watch the eagles fishing for hungry babes in the nest above, river ducks and geese, and small drifting boats with fly fishing folks. The front bedroom is tight and the second is dark...

« Great property for being close to nature, but difficult to find in the dark. "Cleaners" definitely need to do a better job in order to justify the cleaning fees. »

We took the advice of the guide and visited Chet’s Place for dinner and visited the nearby lake. Both were great. My family and I had the most wonderful time and would love to return! 10/10 - would recommend! »

« Everything was great. The place was easy to find, (be advised the gps brought us to the adjacent street.) The cabin was clean, looked great, the grill & fire pit were our best friends. We loved the place so much we ate dinner outside everyday by the fire & relaxed till the stars were all over. Did some hiking & exploring and found a drive through preserve where we got to feed animals, my lady loved it. The cabin seems popular for fly fishing which we did not try. We intend to come back & try...

« The living room was the star with comfy couches, jukebox, wood-burning stove, game table, and silly hats. Our teens actually turned into humans! The kitchen was well-appointed (even plastic baggies), and there were umbrellas and flashlights. The beds were comfortable. good location near the lake and close to town.
