Hotel Stephens

« The room was decent. Did have a leak at the base of the toilet which gave the room a rusty smell..breakfast ending at 9 felt early. Eggs were nasty, rubbery. Waffles were delicious though. »

« This is a good inexpensive place to stay when you want to save on hotel expenses. It was clean and you received what you paid for. The staff was excellent. »

« Tv did not work. Called front desk and instead of having someone fix it she said “just lift up the tv from the wall and unplug the tv plug back in and turn back on”. We were not going to be responsible for lifting up the tv and the chance of it falling to the ground so nothing g was done »

« The hotel was under construction and the elevator was down. I didn’t use the pool or hot tub. So, I can’t speak to that. However, my room was clean and really nice. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I slept wonderfully. The breakfast was great with many options for grab and go. I would highly recommend Wingate Athens. »

« Hôtel propre et confortable, personnel serviable. Petit déjeuner inclus avec pas mal de choix mais qualité très moyenne. Attention, l’hôtel est loin du centre-ville d’Athens, compter 15 bonnes minutes de voiture. »

« I have no words. I am someone who does not mind a hotel that isn’t fancy but this was lower than the worst!!! From the outside it looks charming but when you walk in!! First you are hit with a stench! They automatically take your payment so you cannot leave to go somewhere else. Then you go in… when I say it should be condemned!!!! The back door is broken so it is not a secure place at all. There are broken refrigerators as well as a treadmill laying in the hall beneath the stairway. Definitely...

« Pictures are misleading, the property is very run down and needs major renovations »

« We arrived at Country Inn and for 2nights were please in general, by the beautiful hall! Sadly, no machine for beverages worked, on top of that, AT the reception fridge for them neither, coke warm, needed to go get the Ice , not fun, and We needed corkscrew for our wine, réception had none! Juste the small things! :-( the pool was warm, very tiny spa also but not hot enough and they opened Doors to let humidity out, brrrrr....please get a good ventilation for this hôtel, IT will help! Overall,...

« We booked for 2 nights while visiting family in the area and just needed a clean, quiet place to unwind and sleep. This motel fit the bill very well. Our room was clean, spacious and had a small fridge with freezer as well as a microwave oven and coffee maker in the room. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the breakfast buffet definitely worked for grab and go. We especially liked that they had hot coffee in the lobby all day. »

« Awesome stay. Very convenient location. Breakfast was great. Very clean and comfortable bed. »

« This hotel has drainage problems . We have stayed several different times and the shower and sinks draining is an issue almost everytime but the location is nice »

« Very pleased with my stay. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great! The juice machine was out of order the two days I was there but that didn’t affect my experience. Definitely would stay here again. »

« The first night they shut the access to the motel at 8 o'clock. They were paving the main street in front of it. They did not warn you about it when I checked in and I didn't know how to come in the back by.. »

« Great proximity to UGA »

« From the moment we entered the property, we felt like we had stepped into a different world. The beautiful structure of the home, the peaceful atmosphere, and how wonderfully maintained everything was made the entire place feel so welcoming and enchanting. Mr Colonel Mark was an excellent host! He recommended a wonderful place for us to have dinner, and the breakfast he prepared the next morning was absolutely incredible. I can honestly say it was the best pancake I have ever tasted in my...
