„Our group was thrilled with the place! Cabin wasn't huge, but had what we needed to make our own meals (bacon, potatoes, eggs, salmon, etc) which was awesome! Nice quiet place away from the crowds. They have a great fish cleaning bench with running water and also a packaging house with vacuum sealer, bags, etc which we used the whole process for 1.65/lb. „Everything from the home itself to the responsiveness of the property owner was 5 stars! I would give 6 stars if able. The Silver Salmon Lodge is the perfect space for an Alaskan get away. The home was clean and cozy. It is close to anything you need in Sterling/Soldotna and a perfect midpoint if you are trying to enjoy Homer and Seward. The freezer was a big plus for keeping our fish frozen from the beginning to the end of the trip. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Alaska!“
