„My mom and I took a girls trip to Italy and stayed here for 3 nights. The property is gorgeous, exactly as pictured, perhaps better. Our room was beautiful, modern and tasteful. The furniture and decoration on the entire property was gorgeous, beautiful and aesthetic. The pool was stunning, with immaculate views of the vineyard. „The hotel was amazing (rooms and property in general). We arrived with 2 kids (3&4 years old) and were told we cannot stay in the room we booked. For a fee of EUR30 per night and Child this was then suddenly possible (we didn’t have a Baby cod nor breakfast included so I still wonder why we had to pay extra). Besides that the property is very charming and historical (we were told that the former owners of „Martini“ own the place).“

„Wir waren 2 NĂ€chte im Il Borro. Der Service war mittelmĂ€ssig. Die angestellten der RĂ©ception waren entweder ĂŒberfordert oder unfreundlich/ĂŒberheblich. Der Concierge Service war top.Das Hoteldorf ist sehr sympathisch. Da die Anlage im wald liegt, gibt es allerlei Insekten, extrem viele MĂŒcken. Das essen in der Osteria ist viel zu teuer un nicht ĂŒberaus gut. Das Bistrot hingegen war angenehm mit einer köstlichen Pizza. Alles in Allem hatten wir uns mehr erhoft fĂŒr den Ruf den das Il Borro hat.“

„Wir wollten bewusst ein Agriturismo was ein bisschen lĂ€ndlich gelegen ist, aber nahe der Autobahn, da wir nur eine Nacht geblieben sind. Das Haus ist sehr schön renoviert, es ist sehr ruhig und die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Die Gastgeberin spricht sehr gut englisch. Es herrscht eine familiĂ€re AtmosphĂ€re. Wir haben dort auch zu Abend gegessen, was auch lecker war. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck ist sehr gut und bietet eine super Auswahl. Der Pool ist top, auch wenn wir ihn nicht ausprobieren ...

„Our host was very attentive and lovely. She invited us to a very nice evening wine party on-site aside of a small lake. It was quite charming. It was also nice to see the vineyards and olive trees. One downside was no A/C as advertised, but we had fans. Still very quaint.“

„Alfonso was easily accessible for all our needs. The asthetic of modern farmhouse mixed with vintage flair was perfectly curated. There was the most beautiful homemade breakfast from the farm every morning, and dinner every night if you would like. Be sure to check your email prior to checkin as you have to book dinner 24 hours before checkin. Our email went to spam and we missed the reservation but Alfonso was so gracious to still cook us dinner with only a few hours notice. There were kittens ...

„We enjoyed a one night stay here. The room was comfortable for my family of 5. We enjoyed the onsite swimming pool. One reason why we stayed here was to be close to Florence. We were rewarded with a straight shot right into the east side of the city in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday night. We lucked out and found parking just outside the city center. Fahren Sie sehr vorsichtig, besonders in der dunklen Jahreszeit. Wenn Sie mit einem kleinen Auto oder einem Fahrzeug mit niedriger Karosserie unterwegs sind, wird es schwierig sein, gerade den letzten Anstieg zu bewĂ€ltigen.“

„Alfonso was extremely welcoming and keen to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, We opted for a meal at the hotel on the first night and enjoyed it so much, we had a meal again the following evening which was prepared using fresh produce from the kitchen garden. Room very clean and tidy and would stay again if we came back to the area.“
