« I booked this property due to the close proximity to my son’s tournament. It turned out to be so much more than a convenient location! It is an absolutely beautiful home and property, full of nature. It is so much bigger than it appears and is immaculately clean. The beach is less than a minute walk across the street and is perfect for long walks. We loved that is was a horshoe crab sanctuary, and did our part to flip any crabs that were turned over due to a storm. We hope to stay here again if...

The beach is a natural beach so the sand isn't as clean, however we found that meant a lot more shells to collect! We have stayed in DE at various rentals and this was one of our favorites. The kitchen was well stocked and we didn't have to worry about having seasonings or the right cookware because it was all there for us. The location is amazing and we really enjoyed being able to run back and forth...

The beds and couch/love seat were all so comfortable and can’t beat the location, steps to the beach and to restaurants/shops in Dewey. « We had never been to Broadkill before but it was ideal for children. The beach was quiet and the bay was calm. The shed was equipped for our time in the sun! The backyard bedroom was perfect forWhen the grandparents came and wanted some quiet in the evening and mornings! The home was clean, cared for, and comfortable. It was a well thought out abode for vacationers. We felt safe and relaxed. We couldn’t ask for more. Thank you! »

« Our family of four (with 2 adult sons) stayed here for a week. All the comforts of home to include coffee maker and a modern kitchen. You can walk up the street to a dock and put the kayaks in for an exploration around the bay - quiet and peaceful. Love the salt water pool enjoyed by the community. We love the neighborhood - Angola by the Bay. About 15 minutes to Rehoboth Beach with the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk or Cape Henlopen State Park for a quieter experience. « The host, John, is a great communicator. The house is very well stocked and set up. The beach was so close and we loved the bay and Cape Henlopen State Park. The screened in porch was pretty and relaxing and the outdoor shower was great. This was our first trip to Lewes and we didn’t get to spend time in the town but it looked very charming. We bought wonderful fresh bread and cold cuts and Lloyd’s market. A lovely visit. »
