Hotel Strichen

« Hôtel parfait rien a redire »

« The property was spotless and cleaned every day. Staff checked if needed anything. Very helpful and pleasant service. »

« All together a lovely place to stay with very welcoming hosts. thank you very much. »

« We had a bay view room which looked directly out onto the harbour which was lovely to wake up to The room was spotlessly clean and modern with everything we needed built in. The tea and coffee station was tucked away nicely and there was a full size fridge with a freezer in. We found this excellent as we were travelling so it gave us a good opportunity to freeze our ice packs for the cool bag and chill our drinks down for when we set off again in the morning. »

« Breakfast acceptable when the tables were cleaned. We had some sort of generator outside our window that was very noisy. Toilet difficult to flush. Shower was poor for pressure and volume of water. No shower mat, so extremely slippery. Electrics were strange. Certain things/ lights on one circuit, so had to turn everything on. Handle to room was coming off the door, so not secure. For the money, there are better places to stay. Had a second week booked but cancelled. »

« Cottage had everything you may need. Small welcome pack with tea/coffee/sugar/milk and shortbread for your arrival. Off road parking was a bonus. Chip shop within walking distance which was also an ice cream shop, post office and sold some groceries. Wonderful beach within walking distance too. »

« Close from thé golf course :-) »
