Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely room with an excellent bathroom. We had dinner at the Ragged Cot, which was first class, as was breakfast the following morning.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good spacious dining room with large log fire. Menu was either pub grub or a more upmarket choice too. Only issue I would mention if that the shelving in the shower room wasn't adequate for toiletries and your room isn't made up unless you hang a sign on your door handle but you are warned of that We would stay again. Good value for money

Incredible value room, outstanding food (especially the pub classics) and super friendly staff. We would highly recommend and go back in a heartbeat.

Nice location, restaurant and bar. Rooms are a little tired and cleanliness of the rooms could be improved. Making up the room between nights seemed to only include emptying the bins, towels were not changed and beds untouched. Noise was the main issus with the hotel, being on the ground floor all of the movement

Lazlo was attentive and helpful and definite made the stay a good one alongside the Greek chap whose name I never found out but he was great too. All much appreciated, comfortable and the food I had was absolutely brilliant!

Great staff
Room is as photos, comfortable bed. The staff were really helpful and friendly despite issues they were having that day; as there was no hot water until the engineer came in the morning as I checked out.

Definitely recommend
It was all great, the room we were in due minor spruce up soon and the tea coffee draw empty, the staff were friendly so it would have resolved quickly had I wanted to ask.great value and very tasty generous breakfast. We didn't use facilities in the evening because of party in a different venue we attended. Did have a quick drink tho, good price and decent real ale.
