« Room was SPOTLESS!! âŠnot fancy but good enough and really very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was good for us while traveling. Didn't see much of the property but what we saw looked nice. It was more or less off season in the area so it was hit or miss for restaurants. Oh, the coffee provided in the room was EXCELLENTâŠreally didn't expect that. Temps dropped and it was cold but they had turned on the heater for us before we arrived. That was thoughtful. Heater kept us warm...

« This is not just any hotel. The moment you walk in, you fall in love at first sight. Every detail stands out â the decoration, the cleanliness, the kindness of the staff. They have truly taken care of everything.
Even the fragrance of the towels, their thickness and quality, show the level of attention they put into every detail. Iâm almost at a loss for words to describe how beautiful this place is.
Itâs a hidden gem that is absolutely worth visiting. »

« This 1840 mansion is beautiful. We stayed in the Grant Suite where 70% of the furnishings were original. It sent shivers up my spine to know we slept in General Ulysses Grant's bed. I wish we had been there for a meal. The dining room and menu were inviting.
All was perfect except the entry. They need to make it a little wider. It's on a hill and hard to see the driveway over the crest, especially after dark. »
