« The property is an affordable option if you want to visit New River Gorge and not pay hundreds per night at the resort or tent camp in order to do so. For the price you get a clean, air conditioned place to stay with a basic kitchen and great shower, which is perfect for after a day of hiking or other activities. You can't walk to get anywhere and it's a 15-20 minute drive into town, so just plan accordingly. The host is very responsive and helpful. »

« This quaint little place was all it was advertised! From the welcome video to the rose petal heart on the bed, the place had all the little things that made the stay incredible. Sitting out by the coy pond and watching the doe and her fawn walk over to us was the start of a great evening. Laying back on the bed and watching the satellites fly over was amazing. Hope they have a return guest discount, we would come back! »

« This was a nice house to stay in. With 10 of us we filled the space but everyone was comfortable. We had two adults and 8 kids and stayed one night. The area is really nice. The kids loved throwing frisbees in the backyard and swinging on the tree swing. The house was very clean and well stocked. It was nice to have a good place to do laundry! »

« This is a small property but for us was perfect, 3 adults. Extremely clean, well stocked. House was comfortable. Owner was super with communications and found us an excellent fishing guide that I would highly recommend - New River Gorge Outfitters. The home was close to Pipestem State park and an hour or so from main hiking trails near Fayetteville. Staying in Hinton was perfect for us. Not a lot of restaurants so be sure to bring groceries. There is a Kroger not too far away but we didn't go...

« This cozy cottage was just what we needed for a week of relaxation and fishing with our teenage boys. The space was perfect, the lake was great for fishing and enjoying morning sunrises. Close by, we were able to take a fishing charter and catch even more fish to take home! The house was updated and had brand new appliances that made our stay more enjoyable. « This property was in the middle of everything we wanted to do! Short drives to ALL of the Canyon Rim features of NRG NP. You can walk to everything in Fayetteville from this property (although we drove to a few because of rain). The property is an old house but very well maintained and described very well on the listing. It was perfect for our family of 5.
