In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king
In the relation to European hotels it is a lower middle class hotel. Of course you can stay there without any serious problems. The stuff is very kind generally. Except one evening when I was with my friends in the restaurant of the hotel. At the entrance was a woman unfriendly to them. They were my guests. In my eyes unacceptable. Also I think a no go that during six days builders were busy in the hotel. It was so noisy that sometimes it was not possible to have a conversation in the room. The meaning of my title is that hardly to find an alternative in Sunyani and the region. So I think I would come back.

An enirely excellent experience
The entire stay and experience was excellent. The ambience, food, spacious room, attentive personnel, housekeeping personnel, proximity to airport and courtesy vehicle to and from airport - all created an excellent experience. My only hiccup was the cashier in the main dining room on Friday evening meal.

Clean with friendly, hard working staff. The food was also very tasty. We really like the new hotel extension because even though the rooms are small they are modern. The only problem was how badly constructed our first room was. Staff finally had to move us to a new room. They were kind and courteous

Terrible room service. One meal took more than 2 hours to arrive! I called after an hour to see what was taking so long, and was told they would get right on it. No explanation as to what they were doing for the previous hour. I wanted to just cancel the meal, but my girlfriend was the food. When it finally arrived it was not what we ordered. Another occasion they also delivered food that was not correct. The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable. I woke up every morning with aches and pains. The drain in the shower backed up and they were unable to resolve it after 3 visits and numerous calls. They finally moved me to another room, where the air conditioner did not work well at all. Public areas such as the lobby and restaurant were kept at much too high of a temperature. The cleaning staff was very friendly and did a great job. The laundry service was excellent!

I like the various different common spaces to hang-out and relax. I was a bit bothered by the constant loud music throughout the different areas. Thumping music past 10pm on a weeknight made it difficult to fall asleep to be rested for a busy workday.

The best place to stay in Sunyani, Ghana
The staff addressed any issue brought to them very promptly. I have been staying here for many years (and have tried their main competitor!), and they are always making improvements. Food is great and they are fine with you asking for things not on the menu!

They did not have our reservation in their books and we had to stay in the annex, which was quite a walk from the hotel and the rooms were terrible. I suggest that Expedia coordinates better with this hotel around reservations.

Worse customer service
Very unprofessional. I came from states to sunyani only to have this horrible experience. Staff and supervisor told me they were not affiliated with orbitz and later told me they don’t have my confirmation email even though I had mines. They made zero effort to help including the surpervior. Lack of customer skills, lack of knowledge.

Overnight on business trip, price OK, mixed result
The staff was helpful, but inefficient. The 1st room they gave us had no functioning phone. Staff came and fiddled with it, then moved us to a different room, right next door. Room OK, bedside lamps had bulbs and worked, AC worked, fridge worked, bathroom all new fixtures. However hot water heater did not make enough hot water to last for 1 quick shower. No bath mat so you stepped out of the shower onto the tile floor, which I find disgusting. Bottom sheet was not long enough to cover the entire mattress. The sheets seemed fresh, but the duvet had a musty smell, like it was not dried well and got slightly moldy. No room service menu in the room. Directory of hotel service phone numbers was incorrect for all but front desk. Bar number wrong, room service number wrong. Room service dinner came in take-away plastic boxes with plastic spoon and fork. But the food was good, and hot when it got to us, and price was good. Breakfast buffet was good, waffles and omlette available, as well as traditional Ghanaian foods, fresh bread rolls and fresh breads to toast. Fresh fruit included watermelon, pineapple and apple quarters. Breakfast staff was inattentive and slow, except for the waffle and toast man who was efficient, and the waffles were good. The hotel is huge, and breakfast buffet was in a "Conference Center" annex far from the main hotel, down gravel roads past construction sites. The hotel gave us a guide to lead us there. If you have knee problems, drive there, don't walk.

So many potential good things that haven't yet been properly exploited. Plenty of hard working staff but not working as a team. Have stayed many times over the years -- this time several things like laundry and some food, pool and bar tabs could not be included in hotel tab so it is like a la carte with payments. Water is sporadically not available in the room (not acceptable for a business hotel) even in Ghana. Maintenence is getting shabby. So on a value basis we have to say Eusbett lacks a great deal of luster. Unfortunately it is the only game in town (Sunyani) that we've discovered. Out rating is just "it will do".

Not much choice, but...
Front desk staff was clueless about Expedia and my reservation. Took 10 minutes to sort out. When I got my bill the next day, again they didn't understand about Expedia and tried to bill me. Dining room was slow. Took 15 minutes to take my order and 35 to prepare it. It was quite good when it came. Breakfast was buffet and okay. The room was okay, but it needs a refresh. Wifi worked poorly. Dreary lighting throughout. One of my colleagues said the hotel staff is forced to work from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m, so that could be why service was so poor.
