Note:(I am sharing this now as I wanted to see if my first impressions would fade, they have not.)Ride share has no way to drop you at the entrance, the only option is to walk your luggage thru the garbage area of the Sails restaurant, charming. Security entrance telephone number was incorrect. The units living room ceiling is water damaged an easy 2 hour fix with paint but it has been left with the reasoning that it's an insurance claim therefore it will take time to fix. No temperature control, ie air conditioning so the unit is almost unbearable to sleep in even at 23 degrees night temperatures. There are numerous, maybe 5 fans, this has obviously been a problem for previous guests. The unit is marketed as a penthouse level giving the impression of luxury, which is quite comical based on its style age and design. The View is fabulous but a Million dollar view in a dated poorly ventilated aging building only goes so far to make up for all the shortcomings. The term disappointed does not even begin to describe my first impressions. The icing on the cake is being told that on our first day, a glass company will be coming into the unit to fix a window, (likely unattended) and that we should not open the window for 2 days. Day time temperatures were 33-37 degrees. My message has been cut short due too 1500 character limit.
