Lovely old house close to harbour and ferry.

Very friendly and efficient reception manager. Lovely back garden and breakfast room. Conveniently located, only 15 minutes from the city by car and a 6 minute walk to the ferry stop. The shared bathroom was large and spotlessly clean. My room even had a harbour glimpse.

Happy to have stayed

Wonderful room though bring eye covers as the sun creeps in around the blind. Great space and facilities in room with sink, kettle. Not a kitchenette but it was fine for me. Shared bathroom spotless and with nice toiletries. Location is 1.5 hr walk from The Rocks but very close to bus stops. Sydney transport is very expensive so consider this if you are planning to stay here. However a really nice and calm area away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to jump right in when you want to. I had a really lovely stay here.

Great place to stay when visiting.

All staff was accommodating, pleasant and friendly. They made you feel right at home. My two week stay was comfortable even allowing for a midnight snack in the kitchen.

Stayed at the Admiral for a family function. It was a very pleasant place to stay at. Very quiet, plenty of parking and close to shops and waterfront. The staff were very pleasant and helpful also. Will book again for further family functions.

Lovely old style accommodation

The accommodation is a beautiful old home built in the 1880's and has a lovely nostalgic atmosphere. We stayed for two nights in a twin room which was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy, the manager was friendly and accommodating. Even though there are shared bathrooms we never had to wait. The provision of breakfast is a nice addition, even though we didn't utilise it. It is excellent value for money and we would happily stay again when we are next in Sydney.

Comfortable and Clean Accommodation

Collingwood Lodge is a lovely old home that has been modernized. It is clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly and efficient. I'd stay there again.

Handy location for our visit

Beautiful old building, expected to see tasteful old furniture to match the building. However staff very pleasant and welcoming. Lovely spot in back garden to enjoy breakfast. Only disappointment was the bedding, very thin doona and hollow pillows with no support. (needed to leave the heater on for most of the night)

Lovely hotel situated in a great area

I had a conference at Olympic Park and this hotel is ideally situated, also walking distance to shops and restaurants and the ferry.

Ruhiger Ort zum Wohnen & doch gleich in der Stadt!

Die Lodge ist sehr einladend. Die Küche und der Garten sauber und gepflegt gehalten. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach ausgestattet aber sauber. Das Bad muss man sich zwar teilen, es war aber immer frei wenn ich es aufsuchte. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und die Lodge liegt gleich am Wasser. Am Morgen geht man einfach in die Küche und macht sich was zu essen. Wer's gerne einfach aber sauber und ruhig mag - ist hier richtig!

ホテルは素晴らしいです。テレビがつかなかったのはご愛嬌ですが。唯一の欠点はロケーションでしょうか。周囲は高級住宅街っぽくて、治安も良いです。ただ、電車が近くになく、バス移動となります。500番台のバスで24時間運転のものがあるので、移動は可能なのですがバスというのが、、、。

I love this hotel. It's quiet, clean and the staff are extremely hospitable. Transport is excellent - the ferry service is 5 minutes walk, and the bus stop for the city commute is a block away. Not having an en suite is a negative, but there are a lot of very clean bathrooms available.

Convenient but basic

We stayed here because it was convenient for us attending a party in Drummoyne. It is conveniently located, near to the ferry stop and close to shops etc. Frankly, it is not cheap, however, for a place with shared bathrooms. While it has a certain charm being in a large old Drummoyne house, we could only rate it as being reasonable. While clean, it is relatively basic without a lot of comfort. Breakfast was OK, but very much do it yourself (including being expected to do your own washing up in the dining room!) and disorganised.

lovely and very welcoming all staff are fantastic. Very Good if you have to go to the city and back late at night excellent transport along Victoria Road, as bus run regular into city.

Simple nice quiet room. Bathrooms were always clean, and I never had to wait. A good spot will stay here again.
