Cadre privé à quelques minutes de Tahoe City, au bout d'un cul-de-sac, sur la rive ouest du lac Tahoe. Belle forêt ancienne entoure la maison.
Maison originale construite dans les années 70 avec une nouvelle addition complétée en 2007. Le niveau le plus bas comprend 2 nouvelles chambres et salle de bain complète ainsi qu'une salle familiale avec télévision à écran plat avec TiVo, idéal pour les enfants!
Une chambre avec lit California King, télévision à écran plat et portes coulissantes donnant sur un balcon inférieur. 2ème chambre avec lits jumeaux superposés et lit jumeau autonome, ainsi que des portes coulissantes sur le balcon inférieur. Salle de bain complète partagée de la salle familiale plus une salle d'eau et une buanderie au même étage.
Jusqu'au rez-de-chaussée, salon avec canapé en cuir moelleux et causeuse, téléviseur HD à écran plat satellite avec TiVo, cheminée suédoise, table à manger pour 8-10 personnes, superbe terrasse Trex avec barbecue à gaz et vue lointaine sur le lac. Cuisine moyenne, mais vue boisée entièrement fonctionnelle et panoramique à travers la fenêtre. Internet haut débit est disponible dans toute la maison.
Chambre à l'étage principal avec lit complet et salle de bain partagée dans le hall.
Haut niveau accessible par des escaliers ouverts avec balustrade en métal, offre deux autres chambres: salle avant avec California King Bed; arrière chambre avec deux lits doubles. Salle de bain partagée dans le hall.
Cette maison est idéalement située à proximité de Tahoe City, des pistes de ski, des pistes cyclables et des restaurants. Venez à Woodland Retreat et faites de merveilleux souvenirs!

This place is great! Super spacious, lots of rooms and beds (which are big and comfy), two living rooms and a medium sized kitchen. Also has a laundry room in case you need it (we did) and a great outdoor deck. Plenty of bathrooms as well! Things to know: the WiFi doesn’t work well except on the main (second) floor; there is no salt/pepper or cooking oil in the house; and there is no garage. Overall very good, great place to stay!

Fantastic property

I stayed at this amazing house with a big group of friends and it was a fantastic place to stay! If ever I am in Tahoe with a large group I will absolutely book this place again. The whole process was seamless, the place was spotless, had the perfect amount of space for our big group, and had an amazing patio view. Great experience overall!

The 5 bedrooms were perfect for two families and the deck was wonderful to sit out on with morning coffee or afternoon wine. The only hiccup was a problem with the water heater which resulted in cold showers for several in our party. The management company handled it proficiently and was very responsive. We were very happy with how it was handled!

Great multi-family house

This property met all our needs! We had family in from California, Texas and Michigan for our son's wedding at the Granlibakken resort. Not only was the location perfect, but everybody had plenty of space to gather and enjoy each other and comfortable beds / bathrooms for privacy. The kitchen, pantry and BBQ were amazing! We had a great time!

Great house for a big family

We visited Lake Tahoe with our family from the Netherlands and the house was perfect for a family of 10. Grandma stayed on the main floor and one family was upstairs while the other was downstairs. The main family room was great for shared meals. Check-in process was easy and very clear. The house is located close to Lake Tahoe and we loved Meeks Bay. Would definitely recommend if staying with a large family again.

Very spacious

Beds and linens are very comfortable. Kitchen is well-equipped. Convenient location. Excellent deck. Two family rooms. Overall this is an excellent vacation house. A few negatives: Steps going to top floor are a bit slippery and wouldn’t recommend for the elderly. Internet is spotty. Visited in summer and top floor bedrooms got quite warm during the day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house because we thought we'd have a few more people joining us for the vacation. Even though we were a small group it worked out well. I didn't realize there would be three staircases, so that was the only tough part for my husband who has had both knees replaced. He managed ok, though! The first floor was basically unused, the second floor is where all the action is. The grand room there is beautiful and the deck was fantastic. We used the BBQ one night and it has to be the best BBQ in any rental we've ever had over the last 20-30 years. It was clean and it functioned properly. The kitchen, while small, had absolutely everything we needed from utensils to plates and cookware to storage containers. It was perfect to find an electric hot water kettle, it's exactly what we use at home to make pour-over coffees and teas. The beds we used were ultra comfortable. We have no need for twins and bunk beds but if you have small kids that 3-bed room would be super fun for them. I'd stay here again unless we could find a good, smaller place for us. It was odd to find 25 or so large black trash bags stuffed with pine needles and other "yard" clippings piled up in the front yard. Just wondering why they haven't been dealt with. Looks like they've been there a while.

If you are in need of a house with 5 bedrooms for your sleeping arrangements, this house works perfect. Kitchen and family room is a bit small for a 5 bedroom house, but that's not what was important to us. We needed the beds!

House was clean.Some of the beds are very old and need to be updated. The one on the main floor is basically unusable and the family members in this room ended up on the couches and did not sleep well. For how much you pay, it would be nice for shampoo/body wash to be included, an iron that doesn’t leave rust stains on your clothes and more than 2ply toilet paper. If a few small changes were made, I would love to come back and stay!

Although we couldn't go out as planned for hiking, skiing, and visiting local restaurants, we has a good time stayed inside to play games, watch a few movies, and cook a few meals. The biggest challenge we have at this location is parking. Because we parked two cars on the driveway, the snow blocked the access due to the snow plow pushed the hard snow/ice to block the driveway behind the cars. We have to use a shovel to clear the snow but the shovel available is a low quality one. It could clear the powder snow but not the harden snow/ice pushed onto the driveway from street plowing. Luckily a neighbor let us borrow two good shovels. Overall, we couldn't ski and go out but we had a good time working together to clear the snow from the front of the house, around the cars, and on the driveway. A suggestion is to have two good shovels available so guests can efficiently clear the snow.

Plenty of privacy with bedrooms spread out/on different floors with nice group zones: living/dining area, outdoor deck is spacious and well protected, a separate "play" room where kids could play or for work space, etc. Kitchen amenities exceeded our expectations--a whole pantry full of various appliances, spices, etc. Friendly neighborhood too, with easy parking and access to town and lake. Would rent again for sure!

Be cautious of the stairs

We had some elderly relatives who live nearby who were going to visit us, and it's a good thing they didn't, because they never could have navigated the stairs. That's the one thing people looking for a rental should be aware of with this property.
