Casa Woodbine Apartment is located in a great area. It’s an 8 minute walk to the busy downtown area and about 100 steps to the beach. Having access to the Coast Hotel pool and private beachfront chairs was a major bonus. We used the pool everyday. It was never super busy and some days we had the pool to ourselves! The staff are amazing - friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the privacy of the apartment and the private deck for morning coffee and evening night caps. The lush foliage between our deck and the house on the beach in front of us provided privacy and the opportunity to see birds and monkeys and lizards which was lovely. The king size bed was more comfortable than our own bed at home! As for the apartment space, it was perfect for the two of us. Full kitchen was great as we do like to cook while on vacation to save money. Brand new fridge and the stove worked well. We were able to drink the water from the tap so no need for expensive water bottles and the resulting plastic waste. We did have to chill the water in the fridge tho as it does not run cold from the tap. This apartment does need a bit of refreshing. The furniture was comfy but worn and a few stains. There is a lot of road noise during the day but was quiet all night for sleeping. The kitchen taps need replacing as they leaked and were loose, but these things did not affect our comfort. We felt at home here and would stay again. Katrina the host was very responsive and accommodating
