Good communication with host. She responded to my pre-arrival questions about the fireplace and garage within hours. Location was about as good as it gets. As with all homes in the golf course area, this home was about 5 minutes to the lifts. The driveway slope didn't require tire chains (as one of our prior rentals in Angel Fire required).The home was large and immaculately clean. It had a well stocked kitchen, modern appliances, and plenty of extra bedding (pillows, blankets, etc). The basement "kids room" was well used. We appreciated being able to garage one vehicle and have additional garage space for skis, boots, and sleds. Upon returning home, we heard one complaint about having to shower with only warm water in the upper bathroom. Since we were already home, we couldn't check to see if this was a real issue or not but we chalked it up to user error as we found it a little difficult to find the hot water "sweet spot" on the shower faucet in our own room.Very nice unit! We're already thinking about this home for next year!

This was really a fantastic place for our family reunion! We had 5 cousins ages 2-8 from 3 different cities, and they had a great time playing PAC-Man & ping-pong in the basement. There are also craft supplies and coloring books down there, with tables to work on, as well as a large screen TV and a book collection for when the kids needed quiet time. They enjoyed playing house in the cool bunk beds! But even more we loved seeing deer grazing every day in back of the house as well as just across the road in front! The house is just a few minutes' drive from the playground and Country Club gym. We enjoyed the ski resort chairlift, fishing and pedal boats at Monte Verde Lake, and the many hiking trails nearby. The 9 adults found comfortable beds and private rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen had pretty much everything, and we cooked for and served more than 20 people there every night. The second fridge in the garage and the washer & dryer were very helpful. The living room and back porch are spacious, with fun hammocks and a grill and firepit outside-- the last night we circled around it to toast marshmallows and chat. Host Barbara was very accessible and accommodating. This house was ideal for families, and we would love to stay here again!

Great location! Very family friendly. We couldn’t get the kids out of the downstairs playroom! Lots of room and amazing deck from the living room. The neighbor was beautiful and safe. Definitely come back again!

Fantastic!

We had a great time with our family. The home is exactly as described and beautiful. There was plenty of room for everyone, lots of space. The basement area was such a fun space. Our grand kids and both SIL's also loved the space. The home is also stocked. I mean better stocked then most personal homes imo. It's super close the skiing and the sledding hill at the country club. I highly recommend the home. The host was also very friendly and responsive.

Great week!

We had a great week staying here! The house is very nice and clean. The fireplace was perfect and stocked with wood. The beds were comfortable and we had enough room for everyone! The kids lived in the downstairs kids area! They were fully entertained the whole time! Barb was great and very responsive to questions!! The only thing I would say that is slightly negative is that it was a bit disorganized (a little tough to find things in the kitchen) and there was not any dressers or drawer space to be able to unpack and put clothes away. We did hang things in the closet but mostly stayed packed in the suitcase. Not a big deal and nothing that would stop us from staying again! Overall, it was an incredible stay and we had a great time!

Fun Family Trip

We rented this property to celebrate Thanksgiving and a 50th anniversary (13 people ages 4 to 70). It was very clean and had plenty of space. The living/dining area was large enough to accommodate our entire family. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the large basement was great for the kids and teens. We did not ski, but the kids had a great time sledding. Overall, it was a great experience.

Beautiful home - lots of room!

This house was perfect for our family that is actually several families. The weather didn't allow for much outside time but the house was so spacious and offered many indoor activities we had a great time! We encountered a few minor issues and Barb the property manager was very responsive, helpful and very quick to remedy the issue. Overall wonderful experience!

Great home for large group

Perfect home for our large group. Beautiful location. The large deck, rec room and swings outside were a huge hit! We did though have some housekeeping/cleaning concerns: trash in the bin under the new bag, dirty ceiling fan, cookies on the window sill in the living room, dusty spider webs above the refrigerator, broken trash can lid in the main floor master bath, lots of spiders in the downstairs bedroom/rec room. Also there were several discarded cigars on the ground in front of the swings. We would consider staying here again if these things were addressed. several

Beautiful place

We had a great time gathering in the big kitchen and dining area and cuddling on the huge couch. That’s where we watched the Olympic Trial. The deck was amazing. We enjoyed it so much. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the basement. The bunk beds were a hit with the little ones. We enjoyed being together and this house fit our family of 15. The decorations were so cute in the basement and all the other rooms were decorated very tastefully. We did have to share the bathroom on the first floor but it had a sliding door that it could make it a private bath. The kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes and pots and pans and baking pans you will need. We did use a lot if paper plates and solo cups. Basically this was a great house.

I would really like to speak with Leslie before doing this review. I also rent property and I think there are probably some things that she is unaware of. It is a lovely house and we had a nice time, but I would appreciate the time to speak with the owner.

Family vacation

We enjoyed the backyard deck activities for our entire group to enjoy. The children swings were a bonus. The inside of the house was beautiful and spacious more than enough room for our group. In the evenings the wildlife were abundant and just outside the home. Overall very relaxing and memorable.

Great Getaway Close to Slopes

Our stay was amazing, and the place was exactly as shown in the listing. The downstairs game room was a lot of fun and kept us busy in the evenings. Angel Fire ski resort was literally five minutes away. The house had everything we needed as far as cookware, bedding, entertainment, etc. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

FUN FOR ALL AGES !!!

This modern home was great for our family! The back deck is amazing! It snowed (a lot), and my 7 year old grandson loved playing right outside where we could watch him. The rooms were set up nicely! The downstairs gameroom was great for the younger and older "kids". 2 Arcade style video games, Arcade basketball, ping pong, etc, this room had it all!! We really enjoyed our family time and would definitely consider this home again! Barb was so accommodating & responsive. Great experience!
