We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.
It is a small place, rural and cozy.
The highlight is the restaurant so be sure to make reservations.
The rooms are small but very comfortable and have a view of the vineyards.
It is VERY difficult to find even with google maps. A larger sign lit up in the evenings would really help.
They have a very small staff so you will have to carry your own luggage across the property. A cart for the luggage from the parking area would have been nice. And because we hadn't left our room by 11, it wasn't cleaned the next day.
Finally, in the morning we had asked the reception host about things to do in the area and she didn't tell us about a festival in the nearby town of Tarzo featuring local wineries, handmade crafts and demonstrations and food delicacies. We almost missed it and discovered it at the end of the day so just caught the last hour or so. It was very odd she didn't mention it to us because the hotel owner was calling her while we were talking to her in the AM. We met him at the festival serving his fabulous wines grown on the hotel premises. He was very personable, friendly and hardworking. This festival was the highlight of our stay in the area and we are glad we didn't miss it.
But the area is beautiful and worth a couple days to explore. We stayed two nights which was perfect.
