« Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you! »

« The log cabin lodge is run by Sasaki San and his mum. Lovely people. The place was clean and very quiet. All we heard were the birds and great view of the lake. Sunset made the island shine and a rainbow to appear. Since the cabin is surrounded by nature, just keep the insect screens in place when the verandah doors are open and all is good. We took the meal package as it was well rated. It was more than we expected. The steak was surely the highlight - juicy and tender. Best I’ve had so...
