Welcome to our modern guest home on Youngren Road, a 2023 custom build nestled deep into twenty acres of private woods in Chikaming Township. Set well back from the road and surrounded by nothing but trees, this Harbor Country retreat feels like your own corner of the forest — with Cherry Beach on Lake Michigan less than a mile away.

The open-concept living area is built around floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the woods right inside, making the landscape the centerpiece. A natural stone wood-burning fireplace runs floor to ceiling and makes it easy to settle in on cool evenings. The design is modern and clean with natural materials throughout. The main bedroom offers a queen bed while the second bedroom includes a bunk bed with additional trundle to sleep up to 3, offering an ideal set-up for families with children.

Step outside to a patio strung with lights, a charcoal grill for summer cookouts, and a firepit for the kind of evening you came to Harbor Country for. From here, walking trails wind through the surrounding twenty acres of woods — perfect for a morning hike or a quiet afternoon exploring with the kids.

Walk five minutes on foot to the paved walking and biking path along Red Arrow Highway that connects you north to Bridgman and south into New Buffalo, with coffee shops, craft breweries, and local restaurants all reachable without starting the car. Warren Dunes State Park, over twenty wineries and tasting rooms, the Journeyman Distillery, seasonal farmers markets, art galleries, boutique shopping, and live music at the Acorn Theater are all a short drive away.
