This hotel has a perfect location while travelling per train. There is a direct entrance to the subway in the same building. One minute on foot away is the JR subway station where two lines are available. With them you can reach either Akihabara or the Tokyo station in under 10 minutes. The train to Akihabara is also a good East-West connection to Shinjuku. There are also some shops like a Book Off and a 7 Eleven (perfect for a little breakfast and getting money via ATM) in the same building. At the Kinshicho station there has a food court. I highly recommend visiting the Sushi Bar there!
The hotel room was always very clean. It was quite large for a single room and there also was a little safe to use. The bed was very comfortable.
The staff was extremly freindly and helpful. My baggage was lost during my flight and the Narita Airport failed to deliver it the next day so I did not have it at the end of my first full day. The staff tried to call the airport, but there was nobody available. The staff told me that they will keep trying to reach the airport. And at about midnight my baggage was finally delivered to the hotel thanks to the efforts of the staff. I really appreciate this great service from the staff.
The folllowing May I will make my sixth trip to Japan. This was the first time that I wanted to book the same hotel as the last time. The Lotte City Kinshicho has the perfect combination of comfort, location and perfect staff. I can't recommend this hotel enough!
