The Heather pod was an excellent base for our adventures around the west coast, and a gorgeous spot to settle down with a book and a cup of tea after a long day's walking. Kate is a great host, and the pod was cosy, comfortable and spacious. The setting is great for nature lovers too - we could hear warblers, whitethroats, snipe and more from the pod porch, and even had an encounter with a pine marten during our stay. „Beautiful cottage in a quiet, idyllic location. Beautifully and lovingly furnished. You have all the comforts of a modern and well equipped kitchen, washing machine and a lovely new bathroom. Everything is clean and you can feel very comfortable. Fiona and Andy are great landlords! „It's a wonderful cottage if you are looking for a place away from the hustle of your everday life. Quiet, well equipped and yet only a 15 minute drive away from Oban. We especially enjoyed walking directly from the house along the coast on a somewhat hidden path (not easy, but doable). One tiny suggestion though to the owner: Given the price during the main season I wouldn't ask for an extra charge for firewood.“
