Lake Hartwell

Amazing location and super nice house very clean with plenty of nice outside eating area. Beautiful yard leading to dock with amazing views. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat as we did for touring the lake. Was an amazing vacation.

Get the boat!

Fantastic lake retreat with lots of room and a pontoon boat for a small additional cost. Beautiful and well taken care of property. Owners are super nice and responsive.

Family Easter Vacation

The house was fantastic. Perfect for large families. The gathering/ eating areas were awesome with large kitchen and a great blackstone to cook on. The dock and area of the lake are picture perfect. The ability to rent the boat directly from the owners was so convenient and the pontoon was a great size, clean, ran great, and was an absolute hit with everyone. We would all highly recommend this house and will be back again ourselves. Johanna was great to deal with!

Great Stay on the Lake

The property was as advertised, very well outfitted for a family gathering. The accommodations were terrific, The home was neat and clean and provided all the everything needed to make the stay enjoyable to all ages and interests.

Nice house for a group

Our group of 6 really enjoyed this house. The layout was great for us, with the bedrooms all feeling very cozy and quiet. (It's worth noting that the bunk bed room is only accessible THROUGH the master bedroom, which wasn't an issue for us but I don't know if we realized that ahead of time). The kitchen was well stocked with cooking pans and utensils. We enjoyed all the different seating areas, from the screen porch to outdoor dining table and the cozy living room. We also enjoyed relaxing on the dock (and a few folks went for a chilly swim!) Even though the neighbor houses seem quite close, the layout of the house and windows gave us a sense of privacy.

Great Time on the Lake

Our family of 10 stayed for 5 nights and found everything provided to be thoughtful and generous. The dock and the pontoon boat were the highlights, and we used the boat every day of our stay. Swimming next to the dock was enjoyable, as was the use of the kayaks and paddle board. There were a couple of minor problems that were dealt with promptly by the host to our satisfaction. At one point we had 6 cars parked in the driveway and there was ample room for all of them. We used to have a lakehouse on Hartwell lake and our stay brought back pleasant memories.

Best Times for sure!!!

We had an amazing time at this property. It was plenty big enough, extremely clean, and one of the most well stocked VRBO’s I’ve done. Everything about the process was so easy from checking in to check out and everything in between. The property itself is phenomenal, a great location, hanging on the dock was a blast as was taking the boat out a few times for strolls around the lake. I can’t see enough good things about our stay and the property itself. We will definitely be looking to book it again one day.

GT vs Clemson family and friends weekend

The house was great! We had a great time. We enjoyed the openness of the downstairs where we all could gather and enjoy each others company. We cooked most of the meals there and used the grill and flat top grill. Everything worked great! All the bedrooms worked out perfectly.

Great stay near Clemson

This house was fantastic - clean, comfortable, and as described in VRBO. Rick and Johanna were very responsive and accommodating. It is a 25 minute drive to campus, but I would highly recommend if visiting Clemson with a big group.

Beautiful lake property

Our family had such a nice time at the lake house. The house layout was perfect for us, clean, spacious and well equipped. The host communicated well and in a timely manner with anything we needed. It was so nice to be able to rent the pontoon with the house as well. We would definitely come again!

Clemson Home Game Getaway

This property was just as described and more! We just hate we couldn't stay longer to enjoy all the amenities that come with the property. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Lake and views were beautiful! Would definitely rent this property again.

What a wonderful week!

Wow - what a wonderful week we had at your home! We loved everything from having a fully equipped kitchen to the very short distance to the dock! We had plenty of room and I was so happy with all of the supplies that came with the house (which usually never happens). The owners were very responsive when contacted and were very accommodating. Loved everything about this property and am already looking at dates for our return next year! Thanks again for making our family vacation time so special!

Communication with the property owner was excellent. The house was the best stocked house for kitchen items that we have ever stayed at. The house was in great condition with all TVs working. The dock with the property was very well built and very functional. Everyone loved the place and had a great time.

Lake house heaven

We booked this house for July 4 week for our family (adult children with us) . So happy they bought a boat and were able to offer that for an additional fee. It was perfect. Floating do go t off the dock and the lake is ginormous so this bring in a cove was a great location. Getting up and down to the dock was easy (a hill). House is comfy and can seat a total of 10 in the dining area so was perfect. The 6th bedroom - bunk bed room- it’s not actually adjacent to the master - it’s INSIDE the master. We were happy we didn’t end up needing to use it as that would have been a game changer for us. There were deer each evening just down the street. Boat ramp really close as we had a waverunner. We had 10 people overall for the week but 8 was the most at one time. Perfect - remote and quiet - we floated and boated the whole time.

Amazing time.

We had an amazing time. This place was very spacious, very clean, and well stocked. The beds were one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on at vacation home. The host answered all my questions and were very helpful. We rented the hosts"s boat and it was very nice pontoon boat. We made memories to last a lifetime here. Great Lake Rental

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lake house. We have rented a lot of vacation homes and this was, by far, the best stocked house we ever stayed at. Everything we could think of was provided by the hosts. The lake is an easy walk straight out from the house as well and the dock and lake are great. The hosts were also very responsive when we had questions. The only thing I would flag for others traveling with young kids who are planning to use the bunk room is that it is not only attached to the master bedroom, but can only be accessed through the master the bedroom - meaning, if the kids need to get up in the middle of the night, they must go through the master bedroom. Otherwise, a great stay and we would definitely rent this property again.

Beautiful quiet space with plenty of wildlife.

This house has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation or getaway. Super Clean and Plenty of Space. We had 9 in our group and always had our own space. The views from in and out of the house are very nice as there are plenty. If you rent thw boat, you will not be disapointed....it is very new and well kept.

Amazing house and property! The BEST!

This homeowner goes above and beyond to make sure guests have everything they need for their stay. We had a group of 10 and were all very comfortable. Space to all sit and eat, as well as gather for games. And space to get away from everyone and nap! Felt like home right away. Communication was easy. Host replied to questions very quickly. Easy check-in and out. The property is on a very quiet inlet of Lake Hartwell. Paddle boarding, kayaking, and just sitting on the dock was so peaceful. We had a wonderful time with family just being together and relaxing. This is the perfect house for extended family or friends. Too many positives to even list them all! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! This Florida family will be back!
