5 of us ladies stayed in the Crystal Camper. This is my second time staying at the property. Can't beat the price. Love the hot tub and Scott is very quick to respond to messages and checked on the camper when we had air in the water line. Will return
Perfect for our needs. Quiet, private, secluded campsite with a reasonably well stocked camper. There was more than enough space for 4 adult women. The camper is a little older, but seemingly well cared for.
We loved it! It was so quiet and peaceful in the woods. We sat around the campfire and enjoyed the wonderful nature sounds. The camper had everything we needed plus more. If we come back to Frankfort area again, we will definitely want to stay at Beaulah Land Retreat again.
We really enjoyed our stay, especially the quiet location in the woods. We didnât get to make a fire but will do so during our next stay. It was a wonderful location and we appreciated having a full kitchen for much less than hotels in the area. We also appreciated the place being pet friendly!
We stayed here after climbing the Sleeping Bear Dunes, about 20 minutes away. Our three children, ages 3, 9 and 10, loved sleeping in the bunk room with three beds. Hubby and I were comfortable in the queen (I think) bed on the other side of the RV. Everything was clean and functional. The kids talked us into trying out the hot tub, and it was nice We loved our time here and all want to come back. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Convenient location en route to Sleeping Bear Dunes
We just had a 1-night stay on our way to Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Scott's RV worked very well for us. Communication was quick and easy, and Scott was very understanding and helpful with a problem we had during our stay (our problem, not his!). The RV was exactly as expected from the listing. Location felt very safe. It was nice having 2 bedrooms on opposite ends of the RV. The kids enjoyed their beds, and our bed was comfy as well. Necessary amenities were provided in the kitchen. Bathroom towels were soft and fluffy. Only downside was that the AC was a window unit in the main room, and it was 80 degrees inside when we arrived. The place didn't really cool off till the middle of the night. Other than that, it was perfect for our needs!
The location is great after a day at the dunes. We came in late and in the rain so no chance for a fire. The fire pit was pretty minimal and full of leaves anyway. The camper was clean, but there was confusion on our arrival and we were surprised to find someone inside stripping the beds. Quick fix, but then it made me question if it was cleaned between stays. The camper has had a few updates, but itâs starting to show itâs age. There is a leak in the bedroom slide out that needs addressing. Overall it was fine for the night and met my expectations. Would I do it again, eh.
