    DETAILS: Welcome to Ski View Condo, a cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom retreat near the Village of Northstar. Sleeping up to 4 guests, this property is perfect for couples or small families to experience the remarkable beauty of the Lake Tahoe area. In Winter, ski access is only a short walk away, and when Summer comes, the North Shore of Lake Tahoe is nearby for boating, jet skiing, kayaking, and parasailing. For convenience, the complex features a communal locker room and a laundry room. After a day in the beautiful outdoors, guests will love curling up beside the fireplace or relaxing on the balcony.

    Wood doors and trim add warmth throughout this single-story condo. In the entry hall, guests will find a convenient wooden bench for slipping off hiking and snow boots. Head down the hall into the connected living, dining, and kitchen spaces, where a stacked-stone fireplace adds mountain ambiance and large picture windows showcase the surrounding evergreens. Sink into the living area’s soft sofa and plush armchair for a night of unwinding and watching DVDs on the TV. The fully equipped modern kitchen overlooks the living space with a 2-stool breakfast bar, encouraging effortless mingling. For formal meals, the dining table to the side seats 4. On Summer and bluebird days, wander out the back door to enjoy refreshments at the 2-person bistro set on the balcony. The primary bedroom hosts a comfortable queen bed and Smart TV. For more sleeping accommodations, there’s a queen sleeper sofa in the living space.

    Experience all the adventure and natural wonder of Lake Tahoe and Northstar Resort at Ski View Condo. Parking for 2 vehicles makes it easy to discover the area. For ski-in/ski-out access, Condo Run is located east of the complex, connecting guests to Village Run and Big Springs Express Gondola for mid-mountain trails. Book today!

    Guests have access to Northstar outdoor activities and the Northstar Recreation Center. Main facility Fall/Winter hours for lap pool are 8AM-8PM. Gym and spas 8AM-8:45PM. Game room 8AM to 8PM. Adult 18+ supervision is required for pools/spas/game room. We provide printed paper rec passes and leave them inside the home prior to arrivals. Northstar charges guests $8 per person/per day. Up to 6 guests can share 1 pass for multiple-day entry. All guests 18 and over are required to sign a liability waiver at the rec center front desk before being allowed entry.

This condo was very well equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The communication with host was excellent. Any questions I had were answered quickly. Everything was labeled and there was a book with lots of information about things to do and see as well as directions on how to use everything in the condo. The location was outstanding with stores close by and a short drive to Lake Tahoe. We visited in the summer and enjoyed hiking and biking nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

Forth of July Get Away

This was the perfect place for us to stay. Our first time visiting Tahoe and we are glad we chose to stay here in Northstar. The condo had all the amenities we needed to relax, make our own meals and Lake Tahoe was a short 15-20 minute drive. My children want to return to stay at the condo in the winter to fully experience what Northstar has to offer.

Great family spot for skiing

The condo was perfect for our family of four. The pullout cpuch was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Location to Northstar amd the village is hard to beat. Also loved access to the storage cabinet for skis. Thanks for a wondeful weekend!

We loved this rental! The condo was so cozy and had everything we needed. You can walk to NorthStar Village and it was very safe. My son loved the basketball court during our down time. We hope to rent again

Great location, well-stocked kitchen

Very convenient place for me and my teenage son for skiing at Northstar. A short 5 min walk to the village or ski right onto the Gondola. Really appreciate the kitchen which had 2 coffee makers (and coffee grounds), even basics like oil, salt and pepper. The only small nit is the laundry room’s laundry washer and dryer are operable but could use an update.

Quiet NorthStar location

Very nice, comfortable small condo. Kitchen is well equipped with extras from Natural Retreat like small soaps, olive oil, laundry pods. Best for two people. We are older so taking our things up the stairway and then another stairway to the door was a challenge. We did it and family nearby helped with a cooler. Sleep temperature was nice with windows open at night. Very quiet location.

Great place minus first world problems

First off, this was a great place, and I would recommend it to anyone. That being said, three annoying details: If you’re anything like me, you look at the rating, the pictures and the price and make a decision. I brought a bunch of stuff to grill because there was a picture of a barbecue on the patio and when I got there no barbecue. Looking at the fine print they’re not allowed to have barbecues anymore but the picture was still there, so it was a little frustrating. Second, two outlets didn’t have power so I checked the breakers and couldn’t sort it out. I messaged through VRBO and Natural Retreats said they would contact staff, but nobody showed up between Wednesday when I messaged them and Saturday when we left, so I had to relocate the microwave and coffee maker out of their cabinets to other outlets. No follow up following the initial “thank you for your feedback” messaging. Third, I booked through VRBO, but had to navigate to the Natural Retreats website to get info. It seems like if you post and are taking bookings through VRBO, then all pertinent information should be on the Vrbo app, instead of having to go to an entirely different website and dashboard to get information. Again, minor stuff, but annoying. Still, book this place. It was a great landing spot for me and my boys.

Not for seniors or those with mobility issues

We generally had a good stay at the Ski View. However, it is not really suited for seniors or those with mobility issues. The location is a little far from the parking lot to condo, plus too many steps up and down. The bathtub was too high getting in and out of for my 90 yr old dad. Those were the main things for him. The refrigerator went out during our stay and ruined some food. Lights are dim in the kitchen, so hard to see. There is no AC, but it does cool off at night. Good = condo was nice and clean and well stocked with everything you need. Customer service reps were nice when refrigerator went out, just couldn't do anything about it since it was the weekend.

Great location for hitting the Northstar slopes

We squeezed in one last vacation trip up from the Bay to take more snowboarding lessons for the kids at Northstar. We come multiple times a year. While the location is not literally ski_in ski_out, it is walk across one parking lot road and ski down to the gondola close--or you walk there in 7 minutes on a path that takes you to the restaurants and ice skating rink center. Super close to the action. The apartment was the most fully stocked home we've ever stayed in - extra sheets, blankets, completely full kitchen with all kinds of cooking gadgets, and a very convenient ski locker on the way to the door for wet gear. Check-in with the provided digital information was super easy and wi-fi and other gadget operation was the most clearly explained I've ever seen-signs all over the house. Really great. Also quiet (though that could have been the season).

It was such a delightful surprise to have everything work with ease. Ie: tv, heater, fireplace, kitchen, etc. It was very well organized. It would be nice to have more paper products and larger bottles of shampoo etc.

Beautiful Condo

My wife and I enjoyed the condo and the amenities it provided. We unfortunately had to cut our trip short due to the hazardous smoke in the air so we only stayed one night instead of 4. But that was no fault of the condo. It was very comfortable.

Overpriced, tiny, hidden fees

We took our family up to North Star over July 4th weekend and needed two condos one of which was this location. Unfortunately this one was smaller with a much higher daily rate and additional mgmt fees. Although we went directly to the vRBO site, an additional charge from a second mgmt company was added. This was not clearly articulated on the Vrbo site. Upon arrival though, you could smell cat urine/ litter box in the condo which did not go away. The place needs an update. The bathroom is tiny and the shower head is so low in the shower that we had to take baths. It was July 4 th weekend and we definitely got gauged with fees abd surcharges- the condo size is tiny for 4 people—- not enough room for 4 adults as advertised. Place needs all new caroet. Fortunately we spent all our time in the great outdoors and only slept here. Owners should update and revisit pricing
