Downtime Cottage is a cozy, fresh and newly renovated holiday home located on the stunning Tutukaka coast. Ideally situated, just 3-minutes’ drive from Tutukaka marina and 3-minutes to Matapouri beach.

Couples, families or friends looking to relax in a peaceful location with gorgeous rural and sea views, should look no further. Secluded and private with all-day sun, swing in the hammocks after a day at the beach, diving at the world-famous Poor Knights Islands or deep-sea fishing!

Downtime Cottage comfortably sleeps 5-people in two separate rooms, with quality linens throughout.

COTTAGE:
The main cottage includes a bedroom with double bed and built-in closet, open-plan living area with kitchenette facilities, comprising a large fridge/freezer, microwave, mini plug-in oven, double hot-plate, toaster, kettle and all necessarily utensils.

Toilet room, bathroom (shower) and laundry room with washing machine.

A window breakfast bar and dining table offer views of the open lawns with rolling hills and the sea beyond complement this lovely cottage.

SLEEP-OUT:
Adjoining the cottage a few steps across the wide deck is the recently renovated Sleep-Out. This room includes a Double & Single bed, bathroom with shower, a small bar-fridge and Tea & Coffee making station.

Indulge in this breathtaking setting by taking a seat out on the deck, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink or some alfresco dining with sublime scenery to make it even more special. Or simply while-away the day and relax in hammocks looking out to Cape Bret in the distance.

Note: Under Kiwi Bach tradition you are expected to clean the house and do the dishes before you leave.

TUTUKAKA COAST
The fabulous Tutukaka coast can easily be explored from this perfect location, situated close to Tutukaka’s Marina for diving and fishing charters, the marina also offers a selection of lovely cafes and restaurants for all-day dining options, a variety of shops and a petrol station for your convenience. Matapouri Beach and its close neighbours Whale Bay, Woolleys and Sandy Bay offer beautiful beaches that cater for all interests, not only calm and sheltered for children but also offering great surfing options as well.
