Welcome to Belle Terre, a boutique tiny cabin retreat offering short-term rentals in Franklin County, VA, beginning Spring of 2025. Nestled in an old-growth forest in Union Hall, at the foothills of the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains and just minutes from the tranquil Smith Mountain Lake, Belle Terre offers a harmonious blend of luxury and nature in an idyllic, peaceful setting. Maple is the first of the 10 cabins planned. She measures 8' wide and 24' feet long. The space is compact yet extremely comfortable and inviting. The kitchenette offers a 2 burner electric stove top, sink, microwave, small "dorm size" fridge, French press, drip coffee maker and all the kitchen essentials (pots/pans/utensils) you'll need to prep your meals along with some basic spices and olive oil. There is also a gas grill for you to use on your private deck (propane & outdoor cooking utensils provided). We furnish high quality coffee, tea & accoutrements, microwave popcorn, and a few snacks for on the go. The bathroom is spacious for a tiny home and features a "normal" flush toilet, a soaking tub (also can be used as a shower), a sink, a small wardrobe for hanging clothes and an unlimited supply of hot water. We provide you with quality body wash/shampoo/conditioner. The king size bed is meant to be the highlight of your stay. Gaze out through expansive picture windows as you relax on an incredible comfortable Purple mattress, dressed in sumptuous 600-thread-count cotton sheets, a flax linen-topped down duvet, and plush pillows—all within your air-conditioned retreat. It’s the perfect harmony of indulgent comfort and immersive nature.
Mornings at Belle Terre are meant to be savored. Once you emerge from your cozy nest, sip a freshly brewed coffee at your private outdoor bar overlooking the forest or sink into an Adirondack chair by your smokeless Solo stove, the crackling fire complementing the soothing sounds of the wilderness.
Keep an eye out for the graceful presence of wild turkeys, deer, owls, and other woodland creatures. After all, who says you must choose between luxury and nature? At Belle Terre, we seamlessly blend the two, creating an experience where tranquility and elegance coexist in perfect balance.
