Only bad thing, and itâs not in the hotel, is the lack of near-by dining options. Especially late night. But everything about the hotel was quite nice and we enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay mostly. The staff was very helpful and friendly. However, the floors in our room were frankly disgusting. I don't complain about things like this usually, but when after a shower, your feet turn brown from simply walking on the floor, that just made me feel gross. The shower fixtures were also covered in rust.
Everything else seemed clean however, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the pillows.
Property was in a good location for our purpose. We were just 30-40 min away from the National Mall and Six Flags. Property seemed to be well-maintained. Could do better with the smoke smell in the hallway. Could do better with the cleanliness of bathrooms.
I was terribly disappointed that the icemaker was not working. Iâm additionally surprised that out of four floors there was only one icemaker available.
The hotel was convenient to my destination so that was a plus. Walls are super thin so I was upset that I forgot my ear plugs. The air conditioner worked but it definitely wasnât cooling the room. Lastly, the refrigerator was so loud that I unplugged it overnight.
First impression was the lobby was dirty so was worried about the cleanliness of the rooms before even seeing it. Staff was rude at checkin.
We were given a handicap room because we asked for a king bed. There appeared to be dried up blood on the lampshade and God knows what on the headboard (barf) If we didnât return from our event so late I would have left because I was so disgusted. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Every time you moved you would sink into the middle. Overall I would not stay again
