« Our drive there took longer than expected so we were exhausted when we arrived! It was so clean and had all that we needed to relax. The hot tub was a bonus as we were sore and tired and the view is beautiful! I definitely recommend this place! »

« This house is truly one of a kind. It felt like stepping into The Croods (the movie)—living in a cave, but an incredibly luxurious one! The kids said it was like being in a fairytale and were genuinely sad to leave. Tucked away by the river and off the beaten path, it had everything we needed for a magical stay. »

« My stay in Césars house was great. The house is very nice and spacious. César was very kind and helpful. In case of any questions he was answering very fast. If I will come back to this part of San José, I would really like to stay here again. »

« Accommodated us, prompt replies, pool and jacuzzi were uncovered so debris in jacuzzi. A few tv channels to watch with English language. Home would easily cost over 700 a night if it was in the US. Beautiful and spacious home, with up to date amenities. »

« If I could give more than 5 stars I would. What an amazing magical place! The hosts are the sweetest in the world and made us feel like family. I got a tour of their garden and it was magical! I learned so much and I would come back here any time I could. Honestly, the best Vrbo/host etc experience I’ve ever had and I am so glad to have met them. Also the best sunsets you’ll ever see, and please check out the La casita restaurant it’s close and to die for! »

« This place was way up in the Pinilla Highlands but such a cool little spot. The pool had leaves in ot due to the winds but was very clean unlike some places we have stayed. The host was very responsive and the property was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful little getaway. You could also see the howler money when you walked to the pool. The road getting to this little gem was a bit rough so you need a 4x4 vehicle for sure. Really close to Avellanas beach area and restaurants. A big plus! »

« This condo is beautifully designed to enjoy the nature very near but having all the comfort. We saw monkeys with our morning coffee, the host Nina was extremely nice and welcoming. I highly recommend staying there. »

« This place is amazing. After walking down the stairs, you see the most incredible rock house with built-in spa, open concept living/dining areas, and truly incredible bathroom with heated seat and great shower. We loved spending family time together in this memorable location. If we had more time, we would have enjoyed hanging out in the gazebo over the river. Very excited to return someday. »

« The property is exactly as listed! It’s in a very safe area we stayed 5 days. Perfect distance from the beach. The host was very communicative. At the time the washer was out of service and they offered to wash my clothes/fold at 0 extra charge. I had money in one of my pockets that I completely forgot the lady was honest and gave it to me. Really great people. »

« This home has everything you need and want! it even has cold AC in the living room / kitchen!! The only downside is rooms are upstairs and must be accessed via outside (so 3 different doors / keys). Thank you for everything and Pura Vida :) »
