Wunderschöne Hotelanlage direkt am See. Sehr gutes Abendessen im Gourmet-Restaurant. Schöner Pool. Hatten kleines Zimmer (ca. 13 m2) mit winzigem Bad & franz . Balkon mit Seesicht. Freundlicher hilfsbereiter Service an der Reception. Preis für Zimmer tu hoch, aber man zahlt halt die traumhafte Lage.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel mit viel Komfort
Wir hatten das Hotel für einen viertägigen Aufenthalt gebucht, um den Comer See näher kennen zu lernen. Begeistert hat uns die zentrale Lage und die sehr gute Erreichbarkeit der Uferpromenade mit einem sehr guten Gastronomieangebot und zahlreichen kleinen Lädchen sowie zur Anlegestelle für Fähren nach Bellagio und Menaggio. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Seeblick gebucht; der Blick auf den Comer See von unserem Zimmer aus war überwältigend. Das Hotel entspricht den Erwartungen für einen Vier-Sterne-Bewertung. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, leider sprach an der Rezeption niemand deutsch, so dass die Verständigung im Detail Probleme bereitete. Das Frühstück entspricht durchschnittlichen Erwartungen; hervorragend ist das angegliederte Restaurant. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und waren mit dem Angebot sehr zufrieden. Als angenehm empfanden wir, dass man zum Ausladen des Gepäcks vor dem Hotel eine viertel Stunde lang parken darf, bevor man das Auto in dem naheliegenden Parkhaus abstellen kann; die Parkgebühr von 20 € pro Tag ist nicht gerade preiswert. Insgesamt kann man das Hotel nur empfehlen; wir bewerten es sehr gut und würden es bei einem erneuten Aufenthalt am Comer See wieder buchen.

Dear guests, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. The hotel, recently renovated, is located in the middle of the village, just in front of Lake Como, not so far from restaurants and transportations. Every day our guests can start with a rich buffet breakfast and end with a special meal in our restaurant Victoria Grill with local cuisine and delicious pizzas. Varenna, as our hotel, is not famous for parkings so the managment decides to rent some spots inside the public parking far 100mt over the hotel. The extra cost for the magnetic card is Euro 20,00 per night and guests can go in&out all the times they want. Otherwise they can take the ticket directly in the parking and pay Euro 2,00 per hour.

Wunderbares Zimmer mit französischem Balkon und direktem Blick auf den Comer See. Angenehme Hotelatmosphäre. Sehr gutes Restaurant (Victoria Grill) direkt am Hotel. Das Gourmet Restaurant war in der Nebensaison leider nicht geöffnet. Der Aussenpool war leider nicht nutzbar, aber offen & gepflegt. Wellnessbereich sehr teuer mit 100,00€ pro Stunde. Direkter Zugang zum Wasser unterhalb des Hotels.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had breakfast included and it was wonderful. We received a room upgrade and had a fantastic view. The view from the hotel bar and breakfast area was fantastic. There is a hotel shuttle from the train station which was great for our luggage. Our room was spacious and had a great sized bathroom.

I could not have been more pleased with this hotel! The hotel itself is very clean and well kept! The reception area is very nice and well presented. The restaurant for breakfast is really nice and has amazing views of the lake. The breakfast is nice too. Good choice of foods to eat but also not too much that you are overwhelmed with choice on what to eat. The even restaurant, well, what an experience! The service, the attentiveness and the dinner views! And most importantly, the food! Amazing experience all round! Now down to the bedroom, I had a deluxe double with balcony lake view, and the views are incredible!! To wake up and fall asleep to the views of Lake Como are a dream come true! Thank you to the amazing staff at the hotel for making the experience one of a kind! Will definitely be back!

I cannot speak highly enough about this property! From the welcoming staff to the incredible view, everything was perfect! The pool was a great touch, but we also enjoyed swimming in the lake, which was steps away. Breakfast was very tasty with many options. I was not aware prior to check in, but they do have a shuttle that transports you to the train station. Would recommend this hotel!

Beautiful hotel.
I highly recommend a room with the lake view at this hotel! It as marvelous waking up to the view of the lake each morning. Although the room size was on the smaller side, it was functional and comfortable. Location couldn't be better. Good selection at breakfast buffet. Very helpful and friendly staff. Concierge made suggestions and reservations for all 4 nights we stayed here and all the restaurants were excellent.

They upgraded us from a junior suite to the Garden Suite next door at Villa Cipressi, which was incredible. Breakfast was great and has an amazing view of the lake. Would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely consider staying here again. If arriving by train, ask if they can have the shuttle pick you up, as it is not a manageable walk with your luggage to the train station. Also, book a reservation at Il Cavatappi, it was our favorite restaurant in Varenna. If you need to do laundry in Varenna, drop it off at Pensa Barbara Lavanderia and let her take care of it while you're out for the day.

The property is in a very good location on the beach in Varenna. However, getting to the property is a nightmare from the train. We were no told how to find the hotel and best arrive (by taxi!). The communication MUST be better.

Perfect location to discover Como. The view from our room was spectacular! Just a few minute walk to the ferry and many delicious restaurant options. The pool was a welcome bonus. Highly recommend this location. The patio on the back is amazing and a great place to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. Our hotel room itself was perfect and we had an amazing view of the lake. Everything was wonderful. The staff was particularly attentive. My only complaint is the bed was a little hard and the pillows were awful.
