Gloria is a great host. The house was very comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. It helps to have a spot to park a car. The garden is charming. Gloria gave us great recommendations for food options. It was a nice touch to meet Gloria in person. We would definitely stay again

Wonderful villa and excellent host
My spouse and I recently traveled through Italy and stayed in this gorgeous villa for 2 weeks. The villa is gated, and the rental property is located on the top floor. It's a very clean and spacious place, with a rooftop terrace that overlooks the safe and quiet neighborhood. You will also have access to the washing machine in the garage. In addition, you can park your car at the property driveway, which is a nice bonus, as parking outside on the streets could be rather challenging. If you also plan to visit beautiful spots around Verona (like lake Garda or Dolomites) I recommend renting the car at the train station (Autovia). There is no need for the car if you plan to explore only Verona, as the city buses run quite reliably, and you could get to the city center from the villa in 20 min. Gloria is a fantastic host, she welcomed us at the place, and gave us numerous tips that helped us navigate the city (and the villa). She responded to our inquiries via whatsap within minutes, and did everything (and beyond) to help us enjoy Veneto area. We are seasoned travelers, but we could not find any cons; the whole experience was enjoyable! We highly recommend this property, and we are sure that you will be pleased with that choice.

Villa Gloria
This was a spacious and comfortable apartment housed in an elegantly beautiful Veronese villa. The villa was located in a quiet and florid suburb around 20 minutes’ walk to central Verona and all the most important amenities - including good value pizzerias, cosy bars and a supermarket - were located nearby. We would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Verona and look forward to a time when we might be able to do so ourselves again.

Excellent stay in Verona
Beautiful villa in a quiet and safe location. Great restaurant recommendations by Gloria. Very nice to have two separate washrooms and an outside terrace to eat on. A few basic pantry basics such as salt, sugar and oil would have been appreciated for those who like to cook and want to make us if the beautiful kitchen and dining room.

Perfect Place to Stay in Verona!!
We made Verona our home base and travelled to nearby destinations from Villa Gloria. Gloria is an excellent communicator, a knowledgeable & kind person and her villa is wonderful. The villa was spotless, the kitchen well-equipped, the patio is perfect, the beds are comfortable and the showers/bathrooms are excellent. It was nice to be close to the city center but a little removed from it. Gloria could not have been a better host. She made fabulous recommendations and gave us great travel tips. Gloria and her villa: fantastico!!

Villa Gloria is a pristine apartment, very nicely appointed, on a quiet but convenient street.
Villa Gloria is spacious, immaculately clean and has every amenity. It is located on a quiet, residential street that is convenient to restaurants, shops, and bus routes to all the major attractions of the city. However, the best thing about Villa Gloria is Gloria herself. She met us upon arrival to show us the apartment, give us site seeing ideas within and outside of Verona, and provide dining recommendations. She was available and immediately responsive during our entire stay to answer all questions about Verona. Villa Gloria is wonderful, and Gloria is outstanding!

Everything you want in an apartment
Spacious top floor apartment, high quality finishes with attention to detail, such as comfortable beds with fluffy duvets and dark blinds on the windows. Loved the rooftop terrace. Gloria is a gracious and knowledgeable host. Go to Miozzi, a 10 minute walk from the apartment for one of the best coffees in Verona.

Incredible property and incredible host! We have never stayed in a better place!
Gloria is the most welcoming, kind, helpful and hospitable host you could ever ask for. She greeted us warmly when we arrived, explained everything to us about her apartment, gave us a map with directions to everything, recommended some wonderful restaurants. The list goes on and on! Always available to answer questions about bus schedules, church schedules, where to buy tickets, etc. She even drove us to the train station and showed us where to return our car. It was Sunday morning and the car rental place was closed. It was quite complicated with trying to park the car in an unattended lot and then taking the keys to another location where the drop box was. How many owners would go out of their way to do that?! Then there is her apartment. Immaculate is an understatement! Very comfortable and fully equipped. The beds were great. There is a lovely outdoor patio. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood with the bus stop that will take you into the city center only a 5 minute walk away. There is even a fruit and vegetable market, a pizzeria and a pastry shop less than a 5 minute walk. If you are planning on visiting Verona, I would HIGHLY recommend this property. Gloria is one in a million. Thank you Gloria for your many kindnesses while we were visiting!!

Gloria is an excellent hostess, she gave us lots of suggestions as to where to visit and to eat. She is very focussed on making sure you enjoy your holiday. Lovely location, a few minutes to the bus stop into Verona, or a walk is possible if it is not too hot. We would definitely recommend this property.

An excellent apartment in Verona
My sister and I loved our brief, 3-day stay in this delightful and spacious 2-BR, 2-bathroom apartment in Verona. Although outside the old city, staying here allowed us to see the pattern of daily life in this great city. Travel into the old town was easy to achieve by bus when we were in a hurry, or on foot to get exercise. Gloria was a superb host, who met us and provided us with excellent advice about the apartment, local services, transport options and timetables, and places to see. She cheerfully made herself available to answer any queries or assist with taxi booking. Her son assisted by taking our luggage up the 2 flights of stairs. The apartment was so comfortable and we slept well. We really appreciated having our own private balcony space with table and chairs to enjoy the sun. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family who wanted some space and to explore more than downtown.

Wonderful architecture and garden, located in a quiet upscale neighborhood within 10 minute walk of the historic center, parking provided ( a must ), owner Gloria is charming, speaks excellent english and very friendly. Beautiful property!
It was the right distance from town with all the amenities of home. Gloria was fantastic and such a great resource for everything. Would highly recommend! We found the bakery, but also a homemade wine making store and fantastic pizza with exotic flavors down the street. The accommodations was clean, perfect size as well as clean (as my 9 year year old reminded me). Would highly recommend. Gloria also is very quick to respond to any questions, not only when staying with her but also before we even left the US.

Schönes Stadtapartment in ruhiger Wohngegend
Die Wohnung war schön groß und sehr sauber. Die Küche war gut eingerichtet und es hatte uns auch sonst nichts gefehlt. Wir wurden von Gloria herzlich in Empfang genommen und Sie hat sich während der gesamten Aufenthaltsdauer sehr gut um uns gekümmert und gute Ausflugstipps gegeben. Falls wir noch einmal nach Verona zurückkehren würden wir diese Wohnung sicherlich noch einmal buchen.

Nous avons apprécié la proximité de la Villa à 20mn à pied du centre ville , le parking clôturé , le confort et la propreté du lieu, la climatisation silencieuse dans toutes les pièces, la terrasse et surtout et avant tout l'accueil très chaleureux de Gloria et de sa fille qui parlait très bien le français . On en gardera un très bon souvenir

Empfehlenswertes Domizil mit Stil
Eine empfehlenswerte Adresse am Rande der Stadt, ruhig gelegen und im klassischen Veroneser Stil. Gute Ausstattung mit Flair, eine schöne Dachterrasse. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und an heißen Tagen ist die Klimatisierung hervorragend. Gloria kümmert sich persönlich um die Gäste und hat immer einen Tipp. Parken auf dem Grundstück ist ebenfalls ein Vorteil, auch für die Fahrräder gibt es einen Platz. Zu Fuß gut 15 Minuten an den Rand der Altstadt. Bäcker und das öffentliche Freibad sind ganz in der Nähe.

Great!
Great apartment, well-equipped, in a green neighbourhood with many old trees. You hear more birds than cars, but two bus stops are nearby to go to the city center or the railway station. The timetables (different bus numbers at night and on sundays/festive days!) and some other information are in the apartment. There is a good bakery ("pane cereale" is recommended for those who do not like white bread) that offers also lunch meals to take out and a small grocery less than five minutes walk away. Gloria is a very nice and helpful host. As in other apartments, "satellite TV" does not mean that there are non-Italian channels, but you probably don't come to Verona to watch TV, and there is the internet.

Un bellissimo e spazioso appartamento gestito da una signora sempre gentile, puntuale e disponibile. Una scelta irrinunciabile se dovessi tornare a Verona
