Other areas of the property are home to PR Short Rentals' office, Isla Nena BioBay operations, several long- and short-term rental units, and our growing Monte Santo Aquaponics farm.

As our guest, you're also invited to enjoy a complimentary behind-the-scenes tour of our tropical aquaponics farm, where you'll discover how fish, freshwater prawns, and plants are grown together in a sustainable ecosystem. It's a unique local experience that most visitors to Vieques never get to see.

Gallito Beach is only about 4 minutes away by car, making it easy to explore the island from a comfortable and well-connected home base.

Most visitors rent a small car, jeep, UTV or golf cart; several local rental companies will meet you at the ferry or airport. Publicos (shared taxis) run on main routes (Isabel Segunda ↔ Esperanza) but will not reach many remote beaches — for those you’ll need a rental or private taxi. Taxis, tour operators and hotel shuttles are common for airport/ferry transfers and excursions (including Bio Bay tours). Expect narrow, two-lane roads and limited public transit.
