Tolle Meeressicht, schwierig zum Finden
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und hatte eine tolle Meeressicht. Das Meer kommt bis zum Hotel an. Die Liegezone haben wir nicht ausprobiert sah aber nicht gemütlich aus und auch das Frühstück war nicht besonders. Etwas schwierig zum Finden.

Atemberaubende Aussicht
Direkt über dem Meer mit Blick in den Golf von Salerno, herrliche Aussicht beim Frühstück mit aufgehender Sonne. Der Weg zum Strand und zum Ortskern ist etwas mühsam (bergab bzw. bergauf), das Personal ist sehr bemüht, wenn auch einige Sprachschwierigkeiten bestehen. Frühstücksbuffett vielfältig und typisch für das Land. Das Alter des Gebäudes ist erkennbar, wurde jedoch weitgehend renoviert (es bröckelt kein Putz!)

This hotel had the most amazing view and accommodating staff. Very clean room with balcony over the Mediterranean. Close to restaurants, beach and everything you need. On site restaurant was good too.

I have a medical issue with my back, and when I got to the property, the bed was the least comfortable that I have ever seen. I ended up laying on the floor. That is when I discovered the ants running on the floor. I asked both Expedia and the hotel to allow us to leave the hotel early and move to a different hotel so that I was able to sleep. Both refused. I ended up not sleeping for 3 days. What little sleep I did get was interrupted by springs in my side. Hotel looked nice (except the ants), local area awesome, but no compassion for medical issues, and beds horrifically uncomfortable.

Cosa dire....hotel vecchio e malandato aria condizionata non funzionante abbiamo dovuto dormire con la porta finestra aperta quindi al mattino alle sei sole e caldo in camera. TV non funzionante e scarico doccia intasato. Altro che 4 stelle....per fortuna abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte

The perfect hotel to stay in Amalfi Coast.
Amazing trip , amazing hotel with fantastic view of the sea , fabulous stuff and great service. Room was very good , very balcony, comfortable bed TV screen with wide variety of channels including free sky sport channels , even there was afree safe box in the room.Free parking and great location very close to swimming beaches , restaurants and shops . I highly recomend this fantastic hotel.

Fine if you have a car
This is going to be difficult to rate but here goes. Arrived by train and walked down to the hotel. There was a couple of long flights of steps that take you between apartment blocks and ended up by the hotel. I think a mapping app suggested it’s about 60m down from the town. The station is higher but there’s a public lift to help. The hotel is right on the cliff front and I had a sea view (note the port view to the left). As this was out of full season the bar and restaurant were shut (breakfast only). So had to go out to eat. Found a nice restaurant not too far away, but any idea of getting back to the station to explore (which was the plan) was daunting due to the climb or an expensive taxi ride. This felt like I was trapped with no option but get out to be able to do anything. Couldn’t even stay in and relax with drink or meal. If you’re travelling by car this is probably fine, but when using the train it wasn’t suitable so unfortunately decided to leave early and move on.

We stayed here in March, and arrived by train 🚆 . The station is very high above the hotel. Going down by foot is ok, going back, definitely not. There is a bus, which goes up the hill, you must buy a ticket from a tobacconist type shop, there were none near the hotel and the hotel did not appear to sell bus tickets. It is very difficult to access The Amalfi Coast from here. As a result stopped one night.

Nice hotel tucked away from the hustle of Amalfi for example but that means longer transportation to other parts of the coast. Basically it’s a view with a room with basic amenities- covers were not on the bed, shower is a small cubicle, no coffee in the room but breakfast is included Beautiful sunrise!

I didn’t like that the rooms didn’t have irons or ironing boards. I had to go to the reception and wait until they brought it to the common room. The staff wasn’t mean but also not overly nice. I still have to get accustomed to the European way.

Habitación sin insonorizar se oye al huésped de al lado aunque hable bajo . Las habitaciones se comunican entre sí por una puerta interior no insonorizada donde majan colocado la televisión de una de ellas y se oye aunque esté muy baja. El parking exclusivo del hotel en el que te garantizan una plaza para ti es insuficiente u no caben los clientes así que te lo aparcan en la calle. Si aparcas en el parking del hotel y está en un buen sitio que no molesta a nadie al día siguiente te lo encuentras en la calle y con un golpe en una aleta o en un paragolpes y no se hacen responsables de nada. Impresentable. Los camareros muy amables y el desayuno bastante bien. La playa privada con solárium no está incluida en el precio y dado que no tiene piscina es bastante inaceptable.. El estado de la terraza con bonitas vistas al mar es preocupante , en mal estado el piso tiene grietas y el techo del balcón superior tiene agujeros con falta de material , bastante dejado y quizás peligroso. El precio de la habitacion en Expedia es un 30 por ciento superior al precio real del hotel. Se supone que Expedia te consigue un precio igual o inferior al oficial y ellos consiguen descuentos para sus ganancias pero esto es al revés , te cargan un 30 por ciento sobre el precio real de las ofertas del hotel, por un hotel que no vale lo que se paga por el. El hotel me envío dos ofertas un 30 y un 20 por ciento inferiores pero Expedia me subía los precios del resto del viaje Nunca más con Expedia

Sea Love
Hotel La Lucertola is a gem. It is older, has lots of charm, and the location right on the water cannot be beat. Once you arrive, you can walk anywhere in town you need to go and do not have to drive. Accessing the deck and swimming is also convenient and relaxing. The tiles throughout the hotel showcase the talent and beauty of local artist and are more than 50 years old. You too will fall in love with La Lucertola, and Vietri.
